Ahhh, some info comes to light.

The bandage guy is named Danzou, and he's a guy who has a lot of power over ANBU.

Sai is a member of the ANBU "Root" unit, a group controlled by Danzou and operated seperatly from the normal ANBU.

The new guy (who looks a bit like the second) is named Yamato, and is the new squad leader. He is a Captain in the normal ANBU unit.

Yamato and Sai are both new members of Naruto's group. And both of these names are aliases.

Heh, seeing Sakura trying to kill Sai was pretty funny though, guess both Naruto and her dislike him.

Yes Boys and Girls, it's time for a CR fight club double edition! Since I didn't post the fight last week, you get a double episode of Fight Club! Let's begin!

Chapter 283-284

(1) Chouji, Naruto, and Shikamaru talk on the street.

Shikamaru: Nevertheless, even if you talk to Asuma-sensei, it's impossible. Because there's this Tsunade-sama over him.

(2) Meanwhile Sai pulls out a scroll
(3) He unscrews a little knob on the top of the scroll
(4) And pulls out a pen from within the scroll case.
(5) He then unravels the scroll itself
(6) Pricks his finger on the pen
(7) And uses his blood to fill the inkwell
(8) Naruto and Co. are unaware of what's going on, on the building above them.

Naruto: Hehe, as usual, you eat all the time. Fatty, more then ever.

(9-10) Shikamaru and Chouji notice something.
(11) Chouji prepares to attack as Shikamaru tackles Naruto to the ground

Naruto: Waaaaaa!!!

(12) Chouji increases the size of his left fist.
(13) Naruto and Shikamaru hit the ground as a strange tiger shaped creature lands nearby, Chouji prepares to fight it.
(14) Naruto notices the tiger creature
(15) The Tiger Creature readies an attack
(16) Chouji lets loose with his punch

Chouji: Yaaah!

(17) Chouji's punch connects with the tiger creature.
(18) The tiger disintegrates in a burst of liquid
(19) The liquid turns out to be ink.
(20) Naruto and Shikamaru begin to recover
(21) Shikamaru notices something above him
(22) It's another tiger creature!
(22-23) Shikamaru looks to the right and left
(24) Chouji grabs the second creature
(25) He crushes the second creature with his hand, causing it to disintegrate as well. Shikamaru begins moving his shadow, Naruto sees something in the distance.

Shikamaru: There...

(26) Shikamaru's shadow continues moving.
(27) A figure sits on top of a building at the end of the street.
(28) We get a closer look at the figure
(29) It's Sai!
(30) Chouji shakes the ink off his hand

Naruto: Never seen that guy... but he's wearing the Konoha sign on his forehead!
Shikamaru: Without warning... I don't know what he's aiming for, but after we catch him let's hand him over to the interrogation squad.

(31) Sai begins to draw
(32) He draws six of the tiger creatures on his scroll.
(33) He finishes the drawing.

Shikamaru: Go Naruto! I'll cover you!
Naruto Yes!

(34) Naruto begins to charge down the street
(35) He grits his teeth.
(36) Sai yawns as Naruto approaches
(37) Sai prepares a technique... Ninpou:Choujuu-Giga (Super Beast Illusion Sketch)
(38) The tigers he drew earlier suddenly burst out of the scroll.
(39) Naruto looks at the tigers in shock
(40) Sai stares at Naruto coldly
(41) The tigers leap from the rooftop at Naruto
(42) Naruto prepares to use Kage Bunshin no Jutsu

Shikamaru: Naruto! Duck right now!

(43) Naruto stops his technique.
(44) Shikamaru uses Ninpou: Kagenui (Shadow Stitching)
(45) His shadow stretches out
(46) Suddenly his shadow splits off into several sections, which rise off the ground.
(47) Each one of the sections impales one of the tigers, causing them to disintegrate.
(48) Naruto leaps into the air as the ink begins to fall to the ground.
(49) Naruto brings out a Kunai
(50) Sai brings out his knife
(51) Sai parries Naruto's kunai with his knife

Naruto Who are you... Bastard!
Sai You... your power is weak, do you even have a dick?

Note: This part of the fight occurs in chapter 284)

(52) Sai smiles at Naruto
(53) Naruto glares at Sai

Naruto: Answer me! Who the hell are you!?

(54) Sai drops his scroll and both him and Naruto leap backwards
(55) Sai looks down in surprise
(56) Shikamaru's shadow moves towards his leg.
(57) Sai leaps up and off of the roof.

Sai: We shall meet again... Naruto-kun

(58) Sai vanishes using some sort of technique.
(59) Naruto shouts at the vanishing Sai

Naruto: Wait!!

(60) Chouji and Shikamaru stare at the rooftop where Sai vanished.

Shikamaru: Who the hell was he?
Ino: I KNEW you'd be here Chouji!

End Fight

Summary: Sai sneak attacks Shikamaru, Naruto, and Chouji with his ink tigers. Chouji takes care of the initial wave, and Shikamaru covers Naruto as he rushes towards Sai. Sai manages to block Naruto's attack, insults him, then manages to escape before Shikamaru can capture him. Before he vanishes he says cryptically "We will meet again." Any musing by the characters is interrupted as Ino arrives.

the plot is actually much more clever compared to naruto. recently it looks like stuff has just been thrown together at last minute when i read naruto.

take for example the week off "to gather new material"

once you get about a few more chapters into bleach you'll be hooked! i like it so much more than constant "ahhh ffs it was his bunshin!" or "omg its THAT jutsu!" the fights are more tactical but so many repeated strategies.

the usual trend is...

1) bad guy says "you cant beat me im 1337 etc etc."
2) both parties exchange blows
3) bad guy says "your doing well" or "pff your a n00b"
4) good guy has a monologue
5) good guy or bad guy has flashback (usually both do)
6) good guy gains upper hand!
7) bad guy recovers from shock and gains upper hand
8) repeat 6 and 7 for as much as you like
9) add flashbacks when repeating
10) bad guy falls down or gets away
11) good guy then has a period of reflection...

oh and the final thing... this usually goes for around 10 episodes o.0

bleach may not be so mentally involving (hack and slash weeeeee) but it keeps it nice and short... and sweet :D

In Naruto, it takes 2.5 years of straight training for Naruto to get on the level of the higher Ninjas.

In Bleach Ichigo goes from being a nobody who doesn't even know the name of his sword, to one of the most powerful Shinigami in a matter of days.

Hm, no. Not use his skill, but at least show some brains... which we haven't seen much of. Still kage bunshin, rasengan. The way things are going it looks like there's going to be a civil war in Konoha... that can be the only thing that saves the series for me, nothing else. Seriously, Naruto's supposed to grow beyond any of the rookie 9 + Gai's team... but we haven't seen any of it. WHEEEEE BIGGER RASENGAN... ZOMFG!1!!? Yesh, one move shown so far out of all the chances he had to show off. It doesn't take that long to show some character development.

And Kakashi's PWNAGE Mangekyou Sharingan... where the **** did that come from? Kishi seriously needs to start explaining stuff. It better be a good explanation too, 'cause if it's crappy then everyone will know he just threw it in there for his FAVOURITE BISHI Sasuke-KUUUUUUN! Which is probably exactly what he did. No doubt when Sasuke returns the improvement will be seen in less than 1 chapter. SUPER CHIDORI! FIRE DRAGON ATTACK+DRAGON BALL ATTACK COMBINED! Basically, a dragon that blows out that fireball jutsu Sasuke loves so much.

Sai... ****ing pretty boy Sai... why? Is there a reason to make him feminine looking? What's with that jutsu too, making drawings come to life... WTF? Oh he can't smile either... cold hearted *******... I feel another Sasuke coming up, and he's gonna be teamed with Naruto, NICE! Just what Naruto-verse needs... another Sasuke, the fangirls are going wild no doubt, soon they'll be SaiNarutoSasuke pairings coming up. >.> No offense to you sane ones! I get the feeling Naruto will touch Sai's cold heart and he will show a try smile... a beautiful smile... HOW **** CORNY! Ugh... seriously Kishi... you better have something good planned, like the council overthrowing Tsunade and starting a civil war. That would be a nice twist, and would bring hope back to Naruto. Otherwise, this series is as good as dead the way it's going.

show me some! only one i seen is kabuto being a baddy (actually thats the only one i remember) then the sasuke leaving... we all knew it when oro bit him.

i thought oodama rasengan translated to big spiral... hence bigger rasengan... woweee.

naruto could actually try to do something good by linking up stuff from the past. the anime filler with mizuki returning was a good idea but, fillers being fillers, it got trashed. the only other link which was actually done in manga was kakashi gaiden.

so fao kishimoto...

1)sort your plot out (too much going on at once)
2)show some new stuff from naruto
(he still only has all the skills of his fitting title of gennin so far)

ok, a little explanation on the power ups...

ishida - the glove was a gift from his grandfather, who died before the story started. the glove when trained with for seven days non stop helps the quincy to reach the height of their ability. downside is taking it off gives a huge boost in power, along with the loss of all quincy abilities shortly after

chad / inoue - both only really learned how to summon their skills at will. chad didnt show much and got pwned by kyouraki (the straw hat bloke). inoue further learned how to do her skills without the incantation. she still couldnt do much though because she lacked the will to fight present in the others. thats why her only attack is weak as hell.

ichigo - learned to move around in spirit form and gained back shinigami powers after almost turning hollow. gained his true blade as well although his zanpakutou is always released form. ichigo has huge reiatsu from the beginning but lacks the ability to utilise it until later on. thats what limits him from being unstoppable goku ssj4.

soul society - well its obvious why we got introduced to the tons of new guys. you wouldnt expect an empty soul society, a place where dead dudes hang out.


moving back to naruto...yeah, now i think of it we've seen most of the new jutsus from the other guys (chouji big hands, shika needles, sakura mega hurty fists) this could be setting it up for naruto to steal the show again, or at least we hope. he can't be the crap unoriginal jutsus guy forever.

does anyone know the bloodline of sai yet? as at now in all his ninja years the thing that serves Orochimarus purposes is the sharingan- unless sai has a bloodline that can allow oro to fight his enemies as well as master all jutsus at the same time- if this happens then he (sai) would be spared death by Oro otherwise ...

bleach to me is just a an unoriginal cartoon, mixed with plots and characters from other cartoons mixed into one show


the first couple of episodes made me think it was a total rip off of Yu Yu Hakusho with the spirit world fighting against demons and such.

and the main charcter....i just cant get into him...all in all, he sucks
