Yay!!!! Shikamaru's group!! Chouji looks just like his dad XD!
and we get to see some of Sai's techniques....and a new one for Shikamaru. Woot!

and i wonder if sai and naruto duke it out when he finds out sai was a spy or does sai just tell him and actually join narutos side either way will b fun to watch

Holy... Shikamaru and Chouji have gotten a LOT stronger. That Shadow Stitch technique was freaking awsome!
As for Sai, he seems to be modeled after a certain Japanese legend, about a boy who's drawings came to life. I think he's just testing Naruto's skills right now.

yeah I know normally people look at the raw first and then see the scan...but I figured might as well cut to the chase since I found a scan *shrugs*
I'm so excited! Sai's technique looks awesome! And hopefully there will be a dramatic appearance by Ino next chapter, see what new jutsus she's learned...
well now we can safely assume Sai's not gonna be in Naruto's group when they go to Orochimaru...the plot thickens! ha ha

Well Team Kurenai and Shikamaru aren't going to be able to join the team... that leaves Chouji, Ino, and Team Gai for Naruto to ask.
Though personally, I think Sai is just testing Naruto's combat abilities. He'll probably fight them for a bit, then suddenly stop and say something like "I guess you aren't as pathetic as I thought, looks like I'll be on your team after all."

Ninpou Kagenui: It appears to be a variation on Kagemane no Jutsu, only instead of connecting to the enemies shadow, the users own shadow becomes a blade they can use to attack people.
Ninpou Choujuu-Giga: Not sure how it works, but it seems that whatever Sai draws on the page becomes a creature under his control.

yeah! what is the shock in that- dont we ourselves been saying weirder things- even on this forum.
most relevantly though that statement doesnt reflect his combat abilities more his abrupt personality and sarcasm.
chouji is awesome- i knew he was going to be just like his dad. yet i am hoping with his taijutsu speciality he has a lot of speed to match his strength like we saw when transformed during the sasuke arc. i really want to see Hinata and Ino's growth. we've already seen tenten,neji, and lee in the last few chapters

yea i don't think ino would go on the mision though just doesn't seem likely besides naruto hardly speaks to her she's really a minor chracter if you think about it.i'm not bashing her just saying it would be a weir dmix ino and naruto on the same team for such an important mission.

Sai's Appearance and character reminds me of Sasuke.. they have that look in their eyes, same with Gaara.

Heh... That was a really weird chapter if you ask me, even though we got a taste of how strong Chouji and Shikamaru have become, the last line said by Sai kinda ruins it in a strange way; imo.

Is it just me or is Naruto not gonna go on this mission. I don't know how much influence the village elders have, but Naruto may be assembling a team that he won't be going out with. Never the less, the storyline is at an interesting crossroads.
never that, why in the world would they be going throw all the trouble to keep naruto out of this mission, its building up to this point and he is the main character after all

why do ppl say sai looks like sasuke? he doesent, he reminds me of haku though since he looks like a girl. i dont think chouji is joining narutos team though. but its wierd for sai to say "ur power is weak" whle smiling

Um, his attack in the last chapter. He drew tigers on a sheet of paper, which then came to life and attacked. And turned into ink when they were killed.

That leads me to wonder, if tigers are the only things he can draw, since he seemed only to use tigers during the fight that we've seen so far.

that will be awesome- he will be more effective than tenten then if he could draw a hundred thousand kunais.
sai reminds me of an episode in INUYASHA of an artist who could draw and summon the demons he draws to fight for him.
but as an artist he must be really gifted with supreme hand speed to be very effective in battle. i wonder if that is his main jutsu- he should be an illusionist too or rather very good in genjutsu. it fits him fine

I think he could summon anything he drew, not just tigers, but the catch is hurrying up and drawing the stuff before he gets hit with a kunai

That I think is his weakness, because I doubt he can draw effectively while he is one the move. So, if he is moving, he would be at a disadvantage; and if he does not move, then 3 people will easily be able to overwhelm him... But still, we have only seen him draw, we do not know his close range combat skills yet.

I don't know, there hasn't been too many Jutsu's (and we've seen A LOT) that involves swords, and since he is a painter/NinJutsu user, I doubt his TaiJutsu would be very good.

Maybe he can combined his sword melee with Cat drawing summonings.
I hope he doesn't just summon drawings, seems pretty childish.
he blocked narutosattack w/ ease and called him weak, he is a good taijutsu userI can garuntee!!

you guys ever wonder if he has scrolls with drawings already on them and just uses that thecnique what ever it was.
He clearly took out a pen to draw, but he might have drawings already done in case hes on the run and cant sit still to draw

maybe he has some pre-drawn monsters in scrolls
perhaps....and the sword....blade....whatever it is is probably used when he doesn't have time to draw his pictures and if for some reason he can't use prepared scrolls during battle. Although it would be cool to see him attack with his sword while his tigers/drawings attack with him

Yea, it's a pretty short weapon, so I'd imagine it's mostly used defensively, in case somebody gets past his ink tigers. It's unlikely tigers are the only things he can make with that pen though.

Yeah his tigers are probably just something small and he can make some huge creature or something, like a dragon or something like that. Now that would be cool.
Just our luck the fifth or someone will stop the fight just when it's getting interesting. Oh well, I kinda want to go on to the whole Orochimaru mission coming up anyway.

I know I didn't think so either, but it's good if you don't want to download anything. Still, you have to wait a litle longer for them to post it instead of downloading it right away.
