Discussion: What will happen to poor Sasuke-kun?

Like the title says. I don't like waiting an entire week to get my fill of Naruto manga, so I decided to start a little thread about future chapters :wink:

Personally, I think even though Naruto, Shikamaru, and Kiba saved Sasuke (ignoring the fact they still have to deal with the two remaining people, whatever their names are, and Kimimaro) Sasuke will pop out of the barrel and try to escape to Orochimaru. Of course, Naruto and friends will try to stop him, but Sasuke will attack them, and Naruto will be forced to kill Sasuke. :shock:

Yes, I know, not very optimistic, but it'd make for a good plot twist

Well actually, I just remembered my discussion with my brother about this, so forget my above prediction.

I think Sasuke will escape to Orochimaru and gain power and kill Itachi and all that, but since he is an avenger, once he kills Itachi, he won't have anything to live for, so all he wants from then on is power, and he becomes evil.

With that in mind, Naruto will become even more powerful (duh) and Sakura, who isnt that strong will become a good medical ninja. If thats the case, does this remind anybody of anything?

Sasuke = Orochimaru
Naruto = Jiraiya
Sakura = Tsunade

I think Sasuke will be saved. He is following in the footsteps of Orochimaru, but I don't think Naruto (and others) will let him go that far, after all, they already saw what happened to Orochimaru.

Kakashi as Hokage would DEFINITELY be weird. I like him as he is now, and if he ever becomes Hokage, I think I'll stop watching. :D

not necessarily cause tsunade becomes hokage. but she never taught anyone really, so you cant assume that he will become hokage just cause he taught the next three legendary ninjas(i agree with your theory about naruto sasuke and sakura)

the thing is sasuke is a bit jelous of narutos abilitys thats why he wants power but i think in the end naruto will fight against him and just like he did with gaara he will show him that orochimaru ( evil ) is not the way to go

In the manga it shows Sasuke thinking about why Naruto's stronger than him, and that's what drives him to go to Orochimaru.

Although when I first read that he was leaving to go to Orochimaru, I kind've suspected that he might have alternative motives... like he was going to try and assasinate Orochimaru. That's what I would've done if I were Sasuke. I'd trick Orochimaru and his people into thinking that I want more power, and therefore am going to him willing, but then when I gained their trust (something that seems impossible now, seeing how corrupted they are), I'd strike.

I never said Kakashi would become Hokage simply because he is Naruto's teacher. But the whole team 7 is drawing some strangely close similarities to Jiraiya/Tsunade/Oroshimaru and Hokage team.

i think you have a good point there about him being a candidate, hyuuga is after all the most noble Konoha clan so a hyuuga hokage is a possibility...one day, but has for this one...he wouldn't do it, he looks like the kind of guy who just want to focus on his clan's prosperity, after all he spends his time training his younger daughter because he wants a strong sucessor

Hyuuga is definitely possible. If that were to happen, i would teleport into the comic and kill all the hyuugas, cept hinata, kuz she's kool. Anyways, in the future i believe that itachi will abduct naruto for his groupmabob-thingy, but naruto would go all demon fox on itachi and win, because sharingan can only copy jutsus, not chakra power. tsundae will have a flashback and save naruto because she doesn't want another person to die because of the necklace that she lost to him in her betting with him about rasengan... you know, the usual spiel

I personally think that shikimaru will become the 6th hokage. Just because he advanced to chuunin sooner than all the other rookie genins in the exam, and he is the best tactician, also he seems to care about the wellfare of his team so in the end he would seem a natural choice for hokage over naruto, or even kakashi... but thats just my opinion

Hrm...it's kind of hard to tell what will happen. Can't forget all the foreshadowing that Neji was hinting during his battle and when the group of 5 first left the village...
That Naruto is the one who can save Sasuke. Also can't forget that it's Naruto who is fighting that Ki...er...whatever his name is guy with the 'coffin' just a few feet away. There must be a reason why NARUTO ended up being the one to fight over the sealed 'coffin' that has Sasuke in it.

Neji and Shikamaru both realized the same thing...and that's the fact that Sasuke's heart is covered in darkness. I agree that, yea, Sasuke is a cold-hearted bastard bent on gaining more power...but deep down he does have a good side. He DID save Naruto during the fight with Haku at the cost of his own life (er...sorta...if Haku had aimed for the vital points, then at the cost of his life).
Anyway...keeping these things in mind...

I think that Naruto will defeat that K-guy he's fighting either by coming up with a brilliant strategy in the middle of the fight or by default when the guy's body finally gives out on him.
Here's what I think: Sasuke had seemed to be 'waking' in an earlier chapter, so he'd probably emerge from the 'coffin' before they got it to the village. He and Naruto would fight, continuing what they started on the rooftop. Sasuke would try to use the level 2 curse (after all...of the group, Naruto was the only one who didn't have to face someone yet with the level 2 curse, so it makes sense that he would face it unless that K-guy uses his curse), and Naruto would be his usual self (which is the only way to save Sasuke from the darkness)...talking while fighting to snap Sasuke out of his 'madness'. He would eventually do so, and Sasuke would probably be sapped of all his chakra/strength from using the level 2 curse, and Naruto would successfully bring him back to the village (saying that Naruto could still move after two fights in a row on a level beyond a Jounin).
And after fighting physically and mentally with Naruto, I doubt Sasuke would try to go back to Orochimaru. Naruto has a charisma...a personality and natural ability to brighten up the darkest of situations.
After all...Orochimaru had to get into a new host body since the group of sound ninjas were late in bringing Sasuke there, so he could last a little longer without having to switch so fast.
Long enough for the powerful shinobi of Konoha to prepare to take him down.
And that's putting Itachi on the back-burner for now. Who knows...maybe he'll show up after Sasuke is 'rescued' from the darkness by Naruto and the two will have to band together to stop him from taking Naruto with him.

Sasuke seems like a bastard, but he cares deeply for Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi. He wants revenge, sure, but his brother is also a class S criminal more powerful than Orochimaru (who killed Sarutobi!), so it's not like it's a completely selfish endeavor. Sasuke is jealous of Naruto's strength only because if he can't beat Naruto, he can't beat his brother.
Also, do you remember Kakashi saying that he was half Naruto's age when he became a chuunin? I think Itachi was nine or so.
Anyway, Sakura's a wonderful character, but I'd like if she became useful soon...

Don't you know, that's Kabuto's job, although as of late I've been doubting his motives, to be honest I have no idea if he's going to, but I hope he does. We really wont even be able to guess until we know more about his backround. People aren't THAT loyal to someone for no reason, go Kabuto.

my thoughts on things that could happen at some point, some are a little far fetched I think but anyway.
Kabuto could be hiding his strength completely, and he is with orichamaru because he wants sasuke for himself (he might be able to steal sharingan using medical techniques ala kakashi?) so he will betray ori if/when sasuke arrives. He may even be able to heal ori but doesnt want to.
Itachi will turn up for the naruto vs sasuke fight
if itachi turns up a few things could happen, sasuke kills him (very very unlikely), naruto will go crazy and unleash more of the kyubi than we have previously seen (maybe even a transformation?! nah that would be insane) and maybe end up killing itachi which would make sasuke mad enough that he becomes a missing nin to appear at a later date to defeat naruto.
Itachi could take naruto and I dunno what would happen if he did.

ori and kabuto could turn up for the naruto vs sasuke and naruto takes them on, sasuke stays out of it but jumps in to help naruto at the last minute realising how close they actually are and rescue him. ori could end up dead or something. Itachi could also turn up for this and then it will get messy.

I dont think naruto would be able to kill sasuke, maybe sakura would turn up, which would be good as I want her to be in it more, I like the idea of her being a medical ninja, she is afterall intelligent and good at controlling chakra and genjutsu (bit like kabuto I guess)

there is most definatley a anakin skywalker thing goin on with sasuke... It's almost obvious that sasuke is gona turn evil join up with oro (cause he craves power that he doesn't have)..., sakura is gona get trained by tsunande... I mean in the manga illustrations they even show a picture of naruto with a little frog on his shoulder, sakura with a slug and sasuke with a snake .... it's soooo obvious... But that's jus the broad picture.. there is so much more that could happen too.. :)

I dont get why you guys r saying Tsunade will train Sakura.Sure maybe Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura represent Jyraiya, Orochimaru , and Tsunade.But Tsunade wont just walk up to Sakura and say I'll train you.

just yesterday i gave in to curiosity and read the manga (id had it on my comp but didnt want to ruin the anime .. i lasted about 3 months) so this is my first manga post...first of all sasuke has gone from my fav character to me really hating him and i believe since narutos chasing him it will come down to the mother of fights between naruto and level 2 sasuke.....it will end in chidori vs rasengan and they will both be knocked out and saved later and sasuke will "be saved from the darkness"

Sasuke is gonna kick the crap out of Naruto and leave him. Before Sasuke leaves he says some painfull words to Naruto. Something like, "You can never become hokage like that. that's why I leaft Konoha, blah, blah, blah." then he leaves and Gaara, Lee and the others arrive. They realize that it's too late for Sasuke to return and returns back to the village. Mission failed.
Choji dies and Neji lives. Neji can't die because there's no way in hell the strongest genin (that's right, he's the strongest, no kyuubi, shuukaku, cursed seal or stupid pills for him, that's all his strength + the byakugan!) is going to die (although Neji is badly injured). then Tsunade heals Neji. the village morns over Choji.

Sakura dies of a broken heart. All the more reason to kick Sasuke's ass. ahahaha. everybody trains. Now it's kakashi's turn to train Naruto. He teaches Naruto the chidori x 10. and tells Naruto to bring Sasuke back this time so He can personally bitch slap sasuke himself. ahahahaha

ok, for real.... the village morns over Choji's death. Naruto thinks about choji's death, what sasuke said to him, and about his promise to Sakura and get's pissed at Sasuke. (U don't wanna piss Naruto off b/c if you do, he's gonna go all demon nine tails on you) so that's what he's gonna do to sasuke when he sees him.

time passes... everybody trains. Oro can't use his arms anymore he teaches Sasuke to summon the snake and all of his seals. Muahahaha.. oro laughs but little did he know that Sasuke is the last one who will be laughing.... DA!DA!DA! yah... and then it goes from there. Oh yah, then Naruto becomes a very sexy ANBU and hunts Sasuke's ass down!
