this kinda thin happened already, but not with one of the bunshin of naruto staying calm. It was in the sasuke vs naruto fight, and he was totally outta his mind when he was like this. so, it confirms the theory about naruto having learnt to control the kyuubi's power :wink:

It's that time again... time for CR's fight club! A panel by panel synopsis of the fights that occured this week...

This time we've got, the continuation of the Naruto and Kakashi Vs. Deidara fight. And what's this? Team Gai is on the scene! Looks like the weather today is calling for sparkly teeth and large machismo showers... Or something. ~cough~

The anger explodes!

(1) Deidara falls towards the ground, propelled by Naruto's punch. (Which occured last chapter)
(2) Naruto executes Kage Bunshin no Jutsu
(3) Four clones appear around Deidara as he falls
(4-7) Each of the clones grabs one of Deidara's limbs
(8) With Deidara firmly in their grasp the four clones fall to the ground, with the real Naruto above them.

Deidara: ~screaming~

(9) The clones slam Deidara into the ground
(10) Naruto continues to fall towards the helpless Deidara.
(11) Naruto slams his knee into Deidara's chest.

Deidara: Wah!

(12) Naruto readies a punch

Deidara: ~screaming~

(13) Deidara gets punched three times (We only hear the punches)
(14) Naruto draws his fist back again, as Deidara's blood flies past his face.

Kakashi: Naruto...

(15) Naruto sticks out his hand, and one of the clones creates a Rasengan in it
(16) Naruto hits Deidara with the Rasengan
(17) Deidara was actually a replacement made out of clay! Naruto is shocked.

Kakashi: Clay... it was a replacement.

(18) The Clones around Naruto disappear
(19) Chakra begins to ooze out of Naruto's body.

Kakashi: So that's what Jiraiya-sama was talking about.

(20) Deidara watches from his hiding place in a bush.

Deidara: What the? So... is that the Junchukiri's...?

(21) Naruto peers around, looking for Deidara. He has reached level two Kyuubi form.
(22) Another tail of Chakra begins to form.

Deidara: No wonder his punches were so strong, heh.

(23) The clone standing next to Kakashi falls to his knees.

Naruto (Clone): Damn... it's getting hot!

(24) Kakashi looks at the clone is shock, he has a flashback of Jiraiya.

Jiraiya:Once the kyuubi’s chakra starts to leak out from Naruto's body. And becomes an actual figure you have to be careful. You must understand, you have to stop it while it only has one tail. Use this, it can seal the chakra instantly.

(25) Jiraiya hands Kakashi a seal.

Kakashi: It's moving too fast...

(26) Kakashi leaps off the tree limb towards Naruto.
(27) Kakashi jumps behind Naruto, and leaps off a rock towards him. Naruto turns towards him, surprised.
(28) Kakashi places the seal on Naruto's forehead.
(29) He looks at Naruto, fearful.
(30) Naruto opens his eyes, he has reverted back to level 1.

Meanwhile, Team Gai has defeated their clones. Chiyo and Sakura show up, and Deidara tries to escape, but is met by Team Gai.

(31) Team Gai looks at Deidara, in combat positions.

Gai: Good job, Neji.

(32) Kakashi and Naruto look over, surprised
(33) Deidara leaps out of the way, catching the Kunai Tenten threw with his teeth.
(34) Shuriken slam into the tree that Deidara was standing in front of just moments before.
(35) Tenten looks angry, she missed.

Deidara: In this condition it will be hard for me to escape.

Kakashi: It's Team Gai...

Deidara: There...

(36) Deidara leaps onto the headless remains of his flying bird.

Kakashi: Watch out! He's a long range, explosive using type ninja!

(37) Gai, Lee, and Neji land a short distance away from Deidara.
(38) Deidara moves his head towards the bird, dropping the Kunai in his mouth.
(39) He bites into the bird.
(40) Finished, he leaps away from the bird.
(41) Gai, Lee, and Neji stand facing him.

Deidara: I'll show you, the ultimate form of Art is an Explosion!

(42) Deidara's clothing begins to puff out.
(43) Neji uses the Byukagon to look at his chakra flow, and is shocked at what he sees.

Neji: The chakra is gathering in one point... it can't be...

(44) All the chakra is flowing into the center of Deidara's body.

Neji: Everybody, get back now!

(45-48) Everybody begins to leap bacp and Deidara's body bulges outwards.

The end of the second Akatsuki is...

End

Ok... in short, Naruto starts beating the crap out of Deidara and uses some new combo technique where he has his clones hold Deidara in place while he uses Rasengan. Unfortunately he was only beating on a clay replacement. This causes him to go into a higher form of Kyuubi Mode.

Kakashi realizes that he is in danger of losing himself, as his power apparently becomes more and more unstable the more tails he gains in this form. He uses a seal given to him by Jiraiya to block the Kyuubi's power while Naruto only has one tail out. This causes Naruto to revert to normal.

Sakura and Chiyo arrive, and Team Gai has defeated their clones. Deidara uses the moment of distraction to attempt an escape, but is caught by Team Gai (thanks to Neji's Byukagon). Realizing he can't escape, Deidara retreives some explosive clay from his bird, and prepares to unleash a powerful technique. Most likely in explosion suicide move, judging by Neji's reaction.

Also, how many tails appeared when he fought sasuke? I seem to remember only on tail, but i'm not sure.

Likely if all Nine Tails are released, the Kyuubi will come out. Like how the Shukaku does when Gaara uses his Forced Sleep technique.

But since the Kyuubi is much more powerful then Shukaku, such a technique would be devastating to the surrounding area.

another question.. when naruto fought sasuke, did he have that shape of kyuubi covering him with ears and two tails also like in this chap or did more tails come out? was this the first time this happened?

He uses it while he's flying over the sand village. its kinda like a telescope. he used it to find the guards so he could take them out. I think that's chapter 249.

Well, he was still weak from fighting Gaara. So facing an elite Ninja like Kakashi, and the Number One Ninja at surprising people was just bad luck for him.

It seems that each Akatsuki member is going to get one big fight each. Sasori used his against Chiyo and Sakura, Deidara used his against Gaara.

I said it in a sarcastic tone. I also doubt Sakura crying could do much in a full 9 tails mode sort of situation, I'm just exxagerating cause that would be the most cliche thing that Kishimoto could do. :)

And, I believe the clone was subbed as saying: "TOO HOT" when he collapsed. I think it's awesome that Naruto's clones can get affected by the power of the original Naruto's Kyuubi transformation.

I thought the chapter was pretty cool. However, Naruto's fighting techniques are really disappointing for training with Jiraiya for two and a half years. I'm still hoping that he's just sand bagging, which it does seem like, but Naruto has got to show a cool new jutsu soon. You can only reinvent old moves so many times i.e. the rasengan pile driver type of attack. Cute, but not unexpected. Naruto leaking the nine tails' chakra is a story in itself. Hope it doesn't happen in EVERY fight, or it'll just seem like Naruto is a doped up Kiba w/ more power. Naruto's uniqueness has to be redefined AGAIN now. Him just having kyuubi was cool for part one, but I hope they add newer thing's to Naruto's character beside's the "OMG, what is he? He has the kyuubi!".

I agree with this. Naruto has yet to shock me with amazing new jutsu. You can only reinvent/throw up moves so many times before readers get sick of it.


On a separate note, My friend and I were discussing how Tenten might be dead by 278. She is expendable afterall. She doesnt really move the plot in any direction and she's not a pivotal character. She wont be missed either. It's also obvious that Gaara is coming back via Chiyo....I seriously didn't think he'd be able to come back from the dead.

his arm went numb because of sasuke not because of his power, you should re-read the chapter.
