Something begins to focus on Deidara's arm.

Naruto with his Rasengan comes at Deidara from behind, who was running away after sensing danger.

However, Deidara avoids by jumping, and his bird is blown to pieces.

Awesome chapter, accept for the fact that diedra was owned so easily. I mean dont get me wrong I am happy to see that little "yeah" and "hmmm" bastard finally get whats coming to him, but he just seems TO pathetic going out this way, didn't even put up a fight...sheesh. Anyways cant wait for a scanalation of this one and 275 as well. Speculations for next chapter: Sakura and Chiyoo meet up with Kakashi and Naruto, and Chiyoo breaths the rest of her life into reviving Gaara sans Shikaku though then dies. T_T Gaaras never gonna be the same. Dont think will see Gai's team fight themselves, prolly Kishimoto will have them show up proclaiming that they won, but it was hard work. Then Gaara and Co return to Sand Village with the bad news.

well deidara was supposed to be exhausted and out of chakra after his fight against gaara, so it isn't that surprising. But I think he hasn't say his last word, he's not done yet :wink:

Crazy way out there farfetched theory time. Something just doesn't seem right about this whole situation. By that i'm talking about Gaara's current state. It seems like for a Kage he was beaten entirely to easily. Secondly whenever Gaara falls unconcious the Shukaka is supposed to come out yet it never did. That always seemed odd to me. Secondly we see him now in this chapter with cracks in his face. Idicating that he still has on his armor of sand. Now think about this for a bit. The armor of sand is a technique Gaara uses by infusing the sand with Chakra to harden it and hold it on him. If Gaara's dead how could he still be wearing the armor of sand he wouldn't be able to control the chakra for it. Secondly how could he have been fully defeated even though he still has on his armor of sand. Well here's were crazy theory time comes in. My guess is that after he shielded the village he allowed himself to be captured. He didn't want the village to suffer any damage so he tried to create distance between the village and the fight. However, during the process of being moved he realized that akatsuki wante the shukaka. So Gaara let them have it on purpose. All his life he's ben shunned and ridiculed because he was seen only has a monster and a weapon. Even as the Kazekage people didn't trust him the just let him be there because it was easier to keep tabs on him. So he got tired of it and just wanted to be normal again so that he could be excepted. So he allows akatsuki to take the shukaka from him. That's one of my crazy theorys derived from this chapter.

wow kakashi has a different type of sharingan move than itachi. I thought it was genjutsu but it just imploded deidara's arm rather than burning it off.

Looks like gaara will be revived by chiyo in the near future but he will never be the same.

P.S. has it ever occured to u with all the chakra that naruto has he has never learned any useful jitsus to help him fight enemies? like some sort of binding move or far ranged attack (water dragon jitsu, for example) ?

i mean they cant all be harder then kage bunshin :P

When I started reading the part when Garaa was supposedly "killed" I was wondering about the crack marks too. But then a figured that it couldn't be because Itachi wouldn't be that stupid. But in the way you put it, it does make sense. Hm...

hell most likely die later, not sooner. I honestly don't see him getting killed for quite a while. I even think he'll probably be hokage at the end of part 2, if it goes into part 3.

For that one I'm just assuming Jiraiya taught Naruto a sort of Super Saiyan 2 kind of thing, where he can control an incredible amount of chakra consistently to fight over a period of time and not tire out... instead of just exploding off w/ one huge burst of energy with one technique.

This chapter was ok. It was short though like sum1 memtioned earlier, but considering Deidera has already taken down a kage I guess I cant expect too much from him now.

I really hope we get to see a new Akatsuki member soon since it seems that Deidera will be the second member to be defeated. And even more than that, I hope Deidera gives us more info on either Akatsuki or Orochimaru, like Sasori did.

I've noticed something different about Naruto's style. He seems to prefer using two or three kage bunshins that can actually do stuff, rather than 100 weak ones.

I bet when he divides into small numbers, they wouldn't disappear with one hit.

So... long story short, Kakashi uses his Mangekyou to activate what appears to be Amaratsu, the Sun technique. And blasts off Deidara's right arm. He intended to use it to hit Deidara's chest, killing him, but he missed. So he begins readying himself for a second shot, when Naruto interrupts and forces Deidara to jump off his bird. The bird is destroyed, Gaara is rescued, and Kakashi turns off the Mangekyou. A brief conversation insues, where Deidara drops his guard, allowing Naruto to sneak behind him and hit him with a powerful punch.

was it possible for kakashi to copy the magekyou when he fought itachi? i know you can't copy bloodline limits but kakashi also has the bloodline(sharigan). or did he develop his mangekyou sharingan?

Woot! This is why Naruto is the best man! After seing the scanlation I'm just totally hooked and want more. I guess diedra will be finished since he said himself that he is pretty much done for now, i'm kind of happy that he got done in so quickly since the sasori fight took so long. The main reason for diedra's failure to me was really the surprise element, if diedra saw it coming he wouldn't be done in so easily, but oh well, the bastard had it coming, maybe now that the shukaku has no point to akatsuki anymore since diedra is gone gaara may magially get his life and abilities again (very doubful though...)

ok ok ok ok now naruto has really improved and i will prove it.....well when he uses ransangan he creates a clone right...and then he creates another clone inticipation to go after bird guy (sory forget name) the 2 clones get garra while naruto who alredy has his next move planed goes after bird guy....think about it. naruto had the whole thing planed the whole time,, plus he didnt miss bird guy he was aiming for the bird and went after the bird guy after he knew garra was safe. tak about sum naruto action :lol:

By the looks of Naruto's face after he saw the lifeless body of Gaara, I think he became so enraged that he tapped into Kyubi's power (yet again) and hurled himself towards Deidora in blind rage. Instead of sneaking behind him with a kage bunshin, I belive he just went THAT damn fast.

I think that Diedra took Gaara to lead them away from those that have the Shukaku and give them time to get away and seal it within someone else.

I think thats what they have been up to this entire time. Sasori and Diedra have been left there to buy time for the others to escape with the Shukaku. That is purely my theory.

well think about this. we know two of the demons powers right, naruto and garras.

naruto has kyubbi which grants him near limitless chakara and heals his body at an uncontrolable rate think about who this would benifit akatsuki. specifically a certain person, that being itachi. we know that MS takes an emmense amount of chakara to use and it could or could not be hurting him to use it deteriorating his eyesight. with kyubbi not only could he use MS more often but when he does tap into kyubbi (keep in mind this is hypothetical) it would heal his eye.

Gaaras shukaku grants him control over all sand no think of an akatsuki who uses sand. OMG its diedra. you cant not tell me that shukaku would not help him. he can use the sand to make clay at will.

my point is that i think akatsuki is targeting the jin-whatever for specific people in akatsuki. thats why i htink that diedra was after gaara and itachi was after naruto. this is just my theory on what akatsuki is trying to do with the demons.

Its understandable, but we cant say for certain that it was Diedra that was going to get the Shukaku. Another thing is that its not in him now anyways, because that would be like a day of seal making or something. So they didnt have enough time to seal it within Diedra.

Another thing, I doubt he would have mastered the Shukaku in just a few minutes even if Diedra did get it sealed within him.

That's a good theory since I believe Deidra and um....the puppet guy were talking something along the lines of "only one demon per person...you already got the kazekage..." before Kakashi and Naruto went after Deidra and Sakura and the old lady fought the puppet master

I've noticed something different about Naruto's style. He seems to prefer using two or three kage bunshins that can actually do stuff, rather than 100 weak ones.

I bet when he divides into small numbers, they wouldn't disappear with one hit.

Throughout numerous "what can Naruto do now?" threads, I also hoped Naruto could use his clones more effectively, like individual Naruto's. I think I came up with some weird funky theory about Naruto becoming a chuunin by using himself and 2 clones as his team. :lol: You never know. Sakura has shown exquisite growth and ability. Naruto should be able to match or easily surpass this exhibition, but don't reveal too much. 8)

Honestly, I think Naruto is going to stay as a Genin for awhile... in fact he might stay as a Genin until the end of the series when he becomes Hokage. (Assuming that happens).
