you can use VLC Player to view it. .mkv files offer DVD's capabilities. Meaning you can chose the option of wide screen or full screen. Japanese voice overs with subtitles in english, spanish, chinese, or whateve lingo available. Or you can watch is subbed version e.i. English.

you can watch it in other players like media player but I would strongly recommend VLC player. Because I watch .mkv files in media players im hearing too many voiceovers >_< like english and japanese at the same time.

vlc works for me. but i also have BSPLAYER
it plays mkv files really fine and is also well adapted to OGM files

just to add to above MKV are MATROSKA Video files with the matroska format. if u dont want to download any other player then i suggest
u download the matroska codec and install it so that ur player can play the video. if it doesnt work out keep the codec use any of the players mentioned above. I can even play MKV files with WMPlayer
