isshin was most likely placed in a geigai or however its spelt for 20 years. he must also have the "hougyoku" inside his geigai otherwise uruhara wouldnt ask "how do you feel inside".

the grand fisher was also a modified form of what ichigo fought, an arankara (sp) or broken mask. aizen did this apparently, hes also sending these few hollows as tests to know the powers of hougyoku.

and one last thing is that vaizards (what ichigo is basically) and soul society will be fighting against the hollows / aizen / ichimaru / tousen

I think Uruhara asked Isshin how do you feel inside because of the loss of his wife to a broken mask hollow...wouldnt that just make more sense from what they have said.

I cant wait till the next few chapters...they are going to be very informative as to where this manga will be heading and also very informative as to the speculation we are all having...but that is a given.



On another topic I dont think Uuryu's father is EVIL...cmon now why would he be evil...the quicys were torchered by the Shinigamis and killed by the Shinigamis...so I think that if your WHOLE "family" was killed by the Shinigamis you would be REALLY piseed!

plus i feel that isshin's geigai having the hougyoku inside it has more weight to it than simply "claiming revenge". since it seems that uruhara gave out the geigai plus isshin has lived a normal life for 20 years (couldnt see ghosts) it must have a hougyoku inside it. the geigai usually allows a shinigami to restore their powers while in that form while the ones which uruhara makes suppress the restoration of their power plus having most of the internal characteristics of a normal human, thus keeping them hidden from anybody who would track them down.

If i remember correctly the geigais that Uruhara was giving out completly took away your powers as a Shinigami or stripped away your spirit energy but very slowly. So if the geigai that Isshin had was one of those wit the hougyuku in it he would not be able to have killed that Hollow beacause his spirit energy would be very weak.

I think Isshin said that he was weaker or Urahara said it. So he must have been very strong when he was a shinigami. Remember he's at captain level now, he must have been really powerful before

He was captain before the 20 year span- so if he is weaker now and can still whoop a menos level enemy he was really strong in those days.
