I watched five episodes of this anime this week and I found it to be a really sad story which was something I half expected. I find it depressing that she continues to feel like she would be better off dead. I do like soopy-kun though wonder what that bread tastes like ^^

Yea it's a pretty sad story and there are some worse..much worse parts in it, which you haven't seen yet :P

i DOont mind the story... Nor do i truly fin dit said. She is just that martyr type i suppose. and Soopy kun... very weird being looks like a japanese version of barney or something ;/. I enjoy it because well im into the whole middle ages kind of thing.

I've seen all of it. I do enjoy high fantasy like that. The ending got..interesting at the end, but I enjoyed it none the less. The story certainly does build in scale. From very small and centered on the main 3 characters, to some major epic story at the end. Good series.

I got hooked on this series. Really good until the ending. The climax is built up magnificently but the ending was ehhhh...big let down for me. Still a very good anime.

Definitely agree with ppl. I watched it ages ago, The anime club at uni screened a few eps of it. Then I downloaded the lot, cos I hate starting a series and not finishing it.

The fighting was awesome. I really loved how they melded in technology anf fantasy. It really worked. I really love the magic casting style , it was really novel. Mech design was cool too.

I cant remember soopy kun, now I gotta go and find it!
