that is what i thought exactly when i saw him - he already has 299 people killed and in his collection. with the way these akatsuki guys are powerful i am pretty sure it could easily happen -
gai had to open the 6th gate just to beat Kisame's controlled puppet of himself at 30% power.
itachi showed in his momentary fight with jiraiya that they use some forbidden jutsu just like ORO
so it is possible
i am not counting out any jutsu similar to Tsunade's too- it is kind of similar anyways - it came to mind when i saw him look soo young and innocent looking
like keeping the people in his collection somehow alive and using their chakra in some jutsu to recreate hiimself everytime because

1. The Kazekage Puppet lunges at Sakura
2. Chiyo-baa yanks on the strings attached to Sakura.
3. Sakura feels herself get yanked by the strings
Sakura: Kya!
4. Sakura moves, as the Kazekage puppet speeds towards her
5. From the Kazekage Puppet's right arm, several blades spring out.
6. The blades are covered in poison.
7. Sakura notices the poison.
Chiyo-baa: He's so fast!
8. Chiyo-baa frantically pulls on the strings.
9. The Kazekage Puppet prepares to strike Sakura
10. The Kazekage Puppet's blades are blocked by Hiroku's tail (which was seized by Chiyo-baa's strings a few chapters ago)
11. Sakura leaps back as Hiroku's tail is sliced apart.
Chiyo-baa: Unbelievable... It even shattered Hiroku's Tail
Sasori: Not bad, Chiyo-baa.
12-13. Sasori pulls on his chakra strings
14. The Kazekage Puppet's left arm opens up.
15. The arm opens up to reveal summoning tags inside.

I totally agree here too. Remeber the whole thing between Chiyo-baa and Kakashi? She thought he was the white fang, and upon seeing Kakashi she states that she will get revnege upon the "White Fang" for what he did to her son. So if anything White Fang is some how resposible for the death of Sasori's parents (before the sand and leaf where allies). Maybe they were killed right in front of him during a raid or something. Just my speculation though. :wink:

i have been praying for GAI's team to escape their trap and come back to help kakashi, naruto, etc.
i really doubt CHIYO-baa and SAKURA can defeat sasori. he seems too damn powerful as are all the AKATSUKI. the guy was able to defeat the third kazekage- the strongest kazekage of the sands. unless they have some kamikaze-like jutsu like LEE and CHOUJI then they are in big trouble. granted we dont know chiyo's full abilities yet(and only sakura has been doing the fighting- of course with chiyo controlling her) as well as sakura's still sasori's hasnt been seen yet. anyways i wont beat myself too much since anything is possible in anime. let something be possible.

as for naruto and kakashi with kyuubi at hand they might give deidara some trouble- hopefully they can actually beat him and go help sakura/chiyo

And since he stated that he was actually weaker then Sasori was then I feel that Naruto along with Kakashi would do a kick ass job in defeating him. Sasori on the other hand....I'm gonna have to go with the majority on this one. The guys' just to damn powerful! He killed the third Kaze-kage and had a hand in the deaths of the 4th and 5th. Plus he was Orochimaru's partner for crying out loud. The guys practically sannin level. If he is defeated it'll be Chiyo-baa and not Sakura that does it. She'll have to wip out some kamikazi jutsu and kill them both, leaving Sakura to think she needs to get stronger if she wants to protect Naruto and Sasuke.

Agree, Evil_murai, I definitely prefer them no translating the parent puppets' name. It just sound so weird...it makes it a lot more freaky than it already is. Gosh, Sasori is really...uh, unusual (to put it nicely).

At least he didn't kill his parents (unlike Itachi), I think. He just made puppets out of them, like he mummified them.

Dont try to expect things out of this anime. They may dramatize isht and do other things to make it look one way, but as you should know by now, Kishimoto tends to like to make things be not as they seem. In any case, I personally dont think Sakura has a chance against Sasori. From what weve seen, Chiyo seems like a match for Sasori, but Sakura by herself would have died a long time ago. Yea, thats why I read them raw :P. The forms they used for Mom and Dad were casual forms, so Mom and Dad are the best translations. I agree, having Kakurou call out his "crow" rather than "karasu" would be kinda annoying, but in this case, it was important that they translated the names because, obviously, its kinda sick that Sasori made puppets from his parents. Well I suppose they coulda kept "Haha" and "Chichi" and had a footnote, but not only would that ruin the whole surprise on the moment (having to look down to see what it means), but people would probably be like "Whys Chiyo laughing?". Also, to tell you the truth, "Haha" and "Chichi" just dont sound as great as "Hiruko" and "Karasu".



Oh and btw, its not "Diedra", its "Deidara".

I agree with you in that I dont like him much, but like you said, hes a genius and a powerful one at that. His loudmouthness is kinda annoying, especially with all his "yeah"s, but hes only egging Naruto on because hes smart. Im betting its just because he knows Naruto will become reckless at some point, maybe making an opening for him to nab Jinchuuriki #2.
