Was the whole grandfisher in the anime before? I know I read it the manga but I can't remember if its been the aniem before this.

Yeah it was in the anime. I guess they just wanted to go into more detail this time. Remember in the last one they had that 1st guy from soul society trying to take Rukia back. But he just said that he would say that Rukia has reached that age or something.

oh ok just seems wierd the way they did it. And the little bit after the end shows bleach definalty isn't going to stop at 52 episodes

Yeah I know that it's not going to end at 52 eps. When I stopped reading the Manga they were starting a new arc. Sorry for starting a panic

hmm... but his jump festa isn't even a special one... it's a previous episode right? it has a bit of "character-introduction" stuff in the end, but aside from that, it's actually an old episode...

From what I saw, the jump festa was similar to the ever so short GrandFisher arc, except they didn't have the soul society guy like in the anime episodes and Ichigo injured the Grandfisher in a cool way, it wasn't his "mom's dying wish" bright light, BOOM strike, he's hit randomly. It was getting hit, holding on to Granfisher and cutting him then, which is much more dramatic, action packed, and all that. On top of that, Grandfisher runs off saying, instead of "I'll be back" (with the feeling that if he uses Ichigo's mom again, that whole dying wish thing would happen again) but more of a "I'll be back, and you still couldn't strike your mother's image! HAH!" and he has no reason not to use that dirty trick again. I dunno, it makes sense to me, just a different way of doing it that I actually preferred, really...
