well how can you know if its a sprite or not?
can someone teach how to do it..

Well you can tell by looking or asking if the sprite was done pixel by pixel. Or you can just look at it yourself and determine. Sprites can be fairly large and yet still be pixelated and a sprite.

And to make a sprite you just open up a graphics program like Paint or PS. Then zoom in alot and then just use the pencil tool and make art pixel by pixel. Then you color and shade but I wont get too much into that.
