It hasn't gone down hill. The problem I think is that it's not long focusing on interesting fights with all the different ninjas. Lately it's just been Naruto/Sasuke a little too much. But now that this arc is over I think the next one will bring back a lot of the other genins and things will become much more interesting. Narutos training for atleast a few more years so I imagine all the other genins will be training and we'll see more of them to come. It should be interesting once the filler is over.

I cant wait for Naruto's training to be over and he returns to the village..and everyone by then will be like a Jounin and Chunnin..Neji by that time would be a Jounin already..(sorry for spoiling) well,when he comes back,I think he will join forces with the whole team to bring Sasuke back..and we can watch them kick some ass..for now,the storyline,is still boring..No interesting fights..I thought episode 138 would have alot of fighting scenes,but it ended so quickly..haihzz...

yes i agree that the show has been going on a down hill slope since sasuke beat naruto but after watching ep 126 i think that it is slowly picking itself back up again.

I dont see any downhill movement

all the one on one fights between sound and konoha were Great!

and Nartuo and sauske took it to an extreme in their fight, because of all the emotion that was running wild between them. THe animators knew what they were doing when composing that fight, they knew that emotion was the key factor in this battle, thus they had all the destruction and mass chaos to play out the battle so well. this wasnt no girly girl patty cake game. It was just them beating the living hell out of each other, and i loved every moment of it!

I think the storyline will definatly pick up once the other gennins return to it.. I think they add balance to the comady/fighting such as the drunken master lee-san! :lol:

well i think it is getting more exciting with 4 of them arriving at oro's hideout.. also they tried to add surprising facts such as the treachery of sasame.. not that bad actually..

I just don't get it, why do they HAVE to get Sasuke back. He only cares for himself (well, he used to care for his friends, clearly not any more). He will make a very bad team member even if he goes back to Konoha. Since he is so psycho, he will probably kill his friends just like Itachi.

There are two reasons for this:

1) The genin's reason is simple: they miss their friend, think they can redeem him, and want him back.

2) The Hokage and Elder's reason is even simpler: as a military asset the Sharingan is unparalled. As there are to our knowledge only three people left with that ability, controlling 2 of them puts Konoha at a distinct military advantage in a time when they need everything they can get. And if Sasuke can't be controlled/loyal well....at least they can kill him (they hope)
