but uchiha itachi has a fucking advanved bloodline the sharingan and most of all his is a stone colded bastard that killed his entire clan so that he can get the mangekyu sharingan
so observe well the fight with kakashi and gai and the others when the lady did her genjutsu on him it reflected on to her in an instant!!!
and remember the fight with jiraya and sasuke he used his eyes to get out of jiraya's jutsu!!!
so don't tell me that sondaime will win it will be a faire fight that can be dreamt of!right?

We really haven't seen a lot of Yondaime's moves. The only ones we know for sure he has are the Rasengan and the Body Flicker.

He seems to be a lot like Naruto in terms of fighting style though. Distracting and confusing enemies with his attacks before swooping in with a powerful finishing move.

Itachi never said Jiraiya is stronger than him and Kisame. They escaped because they didn't feel like fighting. When they were talking about having a hard time taking "him" on...they were referring to Naruto. This became obvious because soon after, they mentioned, "and he's got that Jiraiya with him too"

They did not fullly understand what Naruto's skills were at the time...probably expected the worst. If Naruto went beserk, it's totally possible Itachi and Kisame would have problems. The amount of chakra released would be too much to allow naruto to fall into a genjutsu, and Kisame's chakra sucker thing wouldn't be much use since Naruto has essentially an endless supply.

Also remember Itachi escaped Jiraiya's Esophagus of the Toad move. I'm not going to guess which one is stronger until I see further evidence, but Jiraiya said that the Esophagus move was pretty strong.

the thing is, in naruto, there is no such thing as power levels, not even the ranks of sanin, jounin, or s class criminal can precisly say which is beter, its all about the weakness, be it, the wheater, the place of fighting, and the reason for fighting, in this case , i think that jiraya cannot be killed by itachi, but can be defeated,
and the same counts for itachi, he can be defeated but not killed, at least not in a one on one fight

The best counter against the Sharingan is speed. And Yondiame has got a jutsu that we know of that can "seal" the Sharingan's abilities. Sure Itachi will provide a challenge but I think Yondaime will have an upper hand. Using the Mangekyo is especially dangerous if Itachi misses his genjutsu/ninjutsu (the fire thing) since he loses a large portion of his chakra. Yondaime is mostly a ninjutsu/taijutsu type kinda like Naruto but obviously much better.

Itachi is mostly a genjutsu user, but is quite well-balanced with ninjutsu/taijutsu so he isn't terribly weak in one area. Which makes out that if Yondaime has the speed (which I'm sure he most likely does) then Itachi will find it terribly hard to place even a hit.

Yondaime would win hands down. The fight between Tsunade and Jiraiya vs Oro, Jaraiya was at 30% cause he was drugged. I think Jiraiya is perhaps the strongest ninja in the whole series. Itachi had to use a special technique that used alot of his chakra just to be able to get out of the toads esophagus. It's pretty obvious Yondaime would win easily.
