Wow, this chapter really made me sad.Esp when Gaara was talking to himself. I kinda got confused in what he was talking about tho. I think they are going to find a way to bring back Gaara...or find a way to make him needed before he dies.(this anime is all about having dreams come true after all). After that old lady explained things, I'm now wondering if Naruto was going to be used as a secret weapon...

Anyway, I don't think Gaara is going to die... Gai and Co. just arrived right as it finished, so they may be able to keep Akatsuki occupied so they can't implant the Shukaku inside somebody else.

Then maybe they could manage to shove it back into Gaara.

It was nice seeing Sakura acting concerned for Naruto. I'm glad their relationship has evolved a little bit.

In chapter 252, Naruto tells her about the Kyuubi, but its implied that she looked through the villages files before anyway.

Couple of things this chapter:

1. Sakura seems more concerned out for Naruto. Whether its as a good friend or she's actually beginning to feel something for Naruto be it sympathy or whatever, only time will tell.

2. Naruto keeps saying he'll save "so and so" all the time. Hopefully he actually does it this time. I'm kinda hoping that it'll seem like Gaara will die and Naruto will bust out an awesome jutsu to simultaneously save Gaara and stun the lights out of everyone.

3. I also foresee a background story about Sasori. Sasori looked a bit worried.

4. That guy that ate the bodies seems to be two people, kinda like the second strongest of "The 5 sound ninjas" who's name I forgot.

5. Akatsuki does have cool jutsu.

6. The yondaime = Akatsuki leader conspiracy theory goes on again. Wrong hair style if it is the Konoha flash.

7. Gaara seems to be losing himself in some kind of battle of conciousness. Perhaps he can save himself through this, but I doubt it.

Bah, thats enough for now. I'm losing the fight to the sandman.......

Generally when a person falls into their own mind in an anime/manga it means they're either dying, or about to die. (The same thing happened to Naruto when he got chucked off the cliff by Jiraiya)...

I don't think Gaara is going to die just yet. Hopefully Gai and Co. can do something to help him.

I think it was an ok chapter, I still so want to see the leader of the Akatsuki and the rest of the Akatsuki members.

I think Sasori at some point in the future may turn against the Akatsuki. Afterall she did seem rather pissed about her subordonates being used as pawns. And I said she and I mean she, look back to the start of the Akastuki fight to gain Gara and the Shukaku, one of her subordonates is stated by Deideria(however it's speeled, too lazy to look) as Sasori's husband.

I think Gara will survive somehow.(most likely because of Sakura's training from Tsunade). Which going to the Sakura thing I'm glad that she's caring about Naruto. I'd say judgeing from the placement of it and the fact that she was getting chocked up at the thoughts of Naruto's death if Akatsuki got ahold of him. Which not to be an asshole and point out something that I see coming, but I think we'll get to see Sakura quit torn when they finally go off to get Sasuke back. ie if they have another fight or what I predict and that's Sasuke stricking her malicously to try to break her bonds to him.

no, they are both male (deidara and sasori). If you watched episode 135, deidara has a guy's voice, and Chiyo says that sasori is her grandson, not granddaughter. about sasori's "husband", i think that might have been a mistranslation.....or maybe gay marriage is actually allowed in the Sand village. :shock:

I'm really not sure what to think about Gaara. I don't want him to die, because he's one of my favorite characters, but...from a storytelling point of view, having Akatsuki kill Gaara would emphasize how dangerous and powerful they are, as well as giving the Sand and Leaf a reason to unite in order to fight them.
Also, if it took three days to get Shukaku out of Gaara, will it also take three days to insert Shukaku into whoever Akatsuki plans for his new host to be (Deidara maybe)?
Incidentally, this chapter killed my pet theory about how the series will end. I had always figured that the final battle of the series would involve Kyuubi somehow being released from Naruto and Naruto having to fight and kill him--thus achieving his goal of surpassing all previous Hokages, since even Yondaime couldn't actually kill Kyuubi. But if the host dies when the demon is extracted, I guess that Kyuubi will have to remain inside Naruto forever.

Well there still is a possibility the leader of Akatsuki could be a female. I haven't seen 135 yet so I don't know if the leader has a female or male voice. It could be a female with a manly voice.

I do believe that in Chapter 248 that gaara referred to the person that he was fighting as a she. As regards Haku Naruto thought he was a girl not just cause he was pleasing to the eye but because he was dressed like a girl and carrying a basket. The akatsuky that gaara was fighting was dressed like a guy yet gaara was still able to see that it was a woman. That's what I think anyway.
