Just figured i'd share, Narutochaos is one of the few sites that has the direct downloads for all of them, so I figured i'd help take off some of that bandwidth problem for those who are slow on finding out about naruto like me(last week :P)

Ok I see what the problem is now...
It seems that the server is taking a lot of bandwidth hits, and while more than a few people are downloading an episode, it doesnt allow another one to access it. So, if you were say(this is theory) the first person to start downloading an episode, and then two more people started to download episodes, you would be cut off. It messes up at the end.

Basically, I just keep redownloading untill it works :P

erm im having problems downloading from the site ... i downloaded till episode 13 with speed 59.6 kbps ... then after the episode 131 or 132 came out all the downloads are downloaded at the speed of 1.70 and below.... so it eventually takes like 47 hours to download 1 episode ... can any 1 tell me whats wrong ... its been like this till now ... is it only me ??

Hi all, and thank you to all those who make this site what it is. I've recently encountered a problem while attempting to download Naruto animes through the direct download link. The other day I was only able to download two episodes before I was told I am only able to download "three Episodes from a media server per day." Then I tried again the next day, and not having downloaded ANY episodes, I received the same message. What gives?

I was able to download your episodes but each one had a file size of zero and when I finished downloading it, nothing would show... What's going on?

it is just simple- either the file is not loaded on the server at the moment which can happen due to technical issues or the protocol string that allows for direct downloading wasnt entered properly for that file. send a PM to one of the MODs or the Administrator to double check.

yeah...the link host for it is retarded....i highly recommend you use torrents...sometimes its a slower download but its reliable.

rk. when you have a file... like lets say...naruto.avi.torrent you open that file and download it. after it downloads it turns to naruto.avi when people start getting into torrent downloading..they dont know that .torrent files arent the downloaded file...its just the key to open up the download

hmm!! i dont quite get you- what do u mean by full naruto series. the anime series is still running!

ur best options: 1) get a site with free downloads( eg go to the main site,NCHAOS main site this is the forum, and get free direct downloads 3 times a day)
or
2)get torrents with seeders/leechers on a server for ur particular eps and download the file via a torrent client (eg bittornado or azureus). here a single torrent can hold a number of eps(batch file) or be just for only 1 eps. and this is also free.

all of these have some challenges- but that is what comes with things that are free. otherwise u can pay some cash and download as much as u want from certain sites.

they turn out text files only if u have accepted using a text editor(like word) as the program to open ur downloaded torrent files. or if u do not have a torrent client to open torrent files on ur computer. if u want to know how to use torrents check this thread

The thing TrueMaster posted is talking about is if you have a router, which apparently you dont. Play around, see what torrent programs work best for you. For me its BitComet, for most people it Azeurus, and for some its BitComet.

If you use Azureus, and you have XP SP2, try this: http://s90782290.onlinehome.us/?page_id=117 Its a huge speed boost. Its works for me, but BitTornado still gives me higher speeds.

one other option which might be a hassle is to have a converter installed on ur computer so that next time you get files in other formats u can convert them to .rm and compress them. if u need help let me know :wink:

When I just click on the link, it fives the 'cannot be displayed' page with error 403- forbidden. Can anyone help me fix this?

It's most likely your firewall disable your internet security for a few seconds until you begin the download then re-enable it.

perhaps you have some sort of cookie or spyware that is causing you conflict. Clean out your registry and temp files. Running adaware or something similar may help. Then try again, if it still doesn't work then try torrents ^_~

download vlc player. and install it. that should work for you. Also read some of the threads made for video playback issues, you will get more help probably for other future issues.

did you read any of the many threads members have posted about video playback issues?
there could be a variety of issues causihg this and any prior knowledge you gain from reading these threads could help you sort out, now and later.

i downloaded the episode and played it with VLC- nothing wrong here.
1) redownload the file again or from another site (you have internet so you should learn how to use torrents or any p2p programme. almost everybody involved with anime does that- so far as they have internet sharing capability). After redownlaoding play it again and see what happens. if you learn how to use torrents (i hope you already do know) then download the 101 torrent from http://yhbt.mine.nu/t/ and use your torrent client to download the file.
Use the search button on the top page of this forum to search for threads relating to how to use torrents if you dont know anything about torrents (there are threads that deal with those)

2) Install a codec pack like ffdshow or k-lite (you must read info on them before choosing to install). evrybody into anime eventually meets a situation where a particular video they have requires a specific codec to enable them to play the video.

3) after doing these restart your computer and play the file again with VLC player.

Yea, I downloaded an episode within 5 minutes the other night, but since yesterday, the server/servers seem to be under ALOT more stress...

And I don't understand how it can go from a great speed, to being REALLY stressed...
Hard-drive over-packed on one of the servers?
Or is it just stressed on the traffic?

they are not three movies. they are three torrents for two movies. Naruto movie 2 and Gekijyouban Naruto Daigekitotsu! Maboroshi no Chiteiiseki Dattebayo are the same movie.

Movie 3's DVD comes out sometime this year (very soon)--until then there is no download for me, you, or anyone for the third movie.

They are faster if the person sharing the folders with you is on the same network. ie uses your same isp on the local area and you guys are on the same gateway. if not it will be slower

If the direct download is too slow for you, you might try using a bittorrent client (i personally use Bit Tornado) or if you just wanna watch the episodes try loading them on YouTube

Hi everyone, i have bit of problem. It seems that direct downlaods takes like 5in to activate and then speed of DL is like 5-10kb/s. And when i try torrents it wont dl anything and after i refresh it say "Sorry, access to this page is forbidden". I try'd other sites u put in first post, but they dont have Naruto in english dub, or they have it hosted on megaupload and rapidshare where files are removed :(

Hey, I've been downloading a few episodes to put together an amv. I've made one before, on my old computer, and I got my episodes from this site (thank you narutochaos!!!). I remembered before when I tried to open up the episodes in windows movie maker, I had a problem and I had to download the DivX thing. So I did that again for this computer, but still when I try import an episode into windows movie maker, it tells me I can't because i don't have the right codec.. but I downloaded divX. I can watch the episodes normally through windows media player, though. Can anyone help me with this?
