I LOVED THE OODAMA RASENGAN!!! That was the coolest jutsu, I think that's the one he used against Sasuke. The death of gaara is a really sad thing. I really did like this chapter. I'm really happy Naruto is in touch with his Kyuubi side. That should be good when he gets into a real fight...I figured it wasn't really Kisame and Itachi..that would be way to easy. I still think the leader of akatsuki has the other mangekyo and just hasn't showed it yet.. i don't know why people thought it was Kakshi..Was he going to be some weird one eyed user? But then it wouldn't be Naruto...it would be something like... Ninja Scrolls(I still can't believe they killed her :( ). I have to agree that more Chakra won't make that nuch of a difference. Best example is the fight of Naruto vs Sasuke. Where Naruto had tons of Chakra, but not the skill to win.

Furthermore, Naruto CAN do a Rasengan without a clone. He did it 2 chapters ago. The Rasengan he did here was different. It was much bigger.

This chapter was really good! The Akatsuki's body-stealing jutsu was interesting--Itachi's fake was able to use the Uchiha fire jutsu, which suggests that the disguise was more than just a henge-type thing...the "sacrifice" seemed to actually gain some abilities of the person it was mimicking.
I really hope Gaara doesn't die..he's one of the coolest characters in the series, especially now that he's become good.

I think it does, and lets say Naruto only had one tail out when Kyuubi has nine so for arguments sake, he only was using 1/9's kyuubi's power. I'm guessing that obviously Naruto probably can't control the power of all nine tails being released and more than likely is impossible, but, If Naruto can at least access one tails worth of power right now, he is an island unto himself. As he gets older and stronger and he can access more power and not lose himself........whoa....... :!:

Anyway, two things I just realized about this chapter:
1. Naruto actually killed someone for the first time, IIRC, at least outside of the movies and fillers. I'm sort of surprised they didn't make a bigger deal about this, since it marks a rather significant event in Naruto's character development.

2. If the body that Team Kakashi was fighting was a random Sand guy, does that mean that Kakashi's earlier comment about "Itachi"'s eyesight mean that the Sand guy, and not Itachi, was the one actually losing his vision? In other words, is it possible that Itachi's eyes are just fine and it was only the Sand guy who was having vision problems for some reason?

When they didnt make a deal of Naruto killing someone for the first time and, for that matter, killing ITACHI (the reason why he lost his best friend for the benefit of those who dont know why itachi is so important) i knew something was up.
Also, Sasuke didn't appear... what the *&@%!!!!! If y'all think about it, it would have made no sense for Naruto to kill Itachi because Sasuke will kill Itachi... We all know this!
As for Naruto not being able to do rasengan without a bunshin... WRONG! If you remember chapter 258 or 259 he straight out of the nowhere had kyuubified himself and rasenganed 'Itachi'. Also, the one we saw in 260 was OODAMA RASENGAN (according to the manga it means big swirling spiral ball) which had a blast zone about the size of Hizashi's Kaiten and... for those of us who've been in touch with the shit since the beginning or since Orochimaru's invasion at least, we know how large that is

P.S. I dont think Naruto WANTS to unleash the kyuubi body chakra because it's too much for him to handle...
