this episode is boring if you dont like flashbacks
last episode renji was defeated and the flashbacks are his feelings towards rukia but they showed the flashbacks when he was out of the main plot...maybe he'll join up ichigo and fight the rest of the shinigamis...

oh is it me or is bleach dying! i haven't seen a devoted fan of bleach post stuff about the new episodes in a while...bleach is still young but come on it kicks ass

Ep 32 was great. By the end, I really didnt want Renji to die. Hopefully the next ep will be even better, maybe some action.

I didn't mind the flashbacks in this one. They filled in some of the holes for Renji and Rukia's past, and it wasn't completely boring or useless as some flashbacks are. I would have liked some action in this ep, but I guess it's alright for a small break.

Judging from the previews though, next week's not gonna show too much in the way of action either :-/ Just a peek into how things are going on the surface world.

Also, I'm beginning to miss that original feeling that got me into Bleach, the whole "Ichigo can see ghosts and is now an acting Death God that slays the Hollows" thing. Sure, it's going down a different path for the time being, but there's just so much more that they left unexplained or open-ended on the hollow side of things.

if he lives then that just means he'll go back with ichigo and rukia in the real world which could be kinda weird x.x

ha 30? dude shinigamis are thousands of years old. and i dont see why you people get so surprised by flashbacks. theyre in naruto as well. all the time.

How does aging work in S-S? Over the flashbacks it showed Rukia and co. growing up, but how long did that take? Thousands of years? What happens when you die of old age? The "leader" of the shinigamis looks old by our standards, maybe he was friends with moses and stuff
