the ep was al fight, it was kinda a yoyo fight with it leading to the next ep which will be an all out fight for the winner :D

As far as best fight, it would be Lee's drunken fist battle but as far as best action, it would be this episode.

Fight Animation wise, Rock Lee/Kimimaro's fight was leaps ahead, it was fast AND smooth. The animation in 133 feels like the 3rd Hokage vs Oroch fight, it was good but the animation quality wasn't that good. However, this is definitely the most action packed episode so far in Naruto!

i also thought that the episode with Lee and Kimimaro was slick as hell but with that said the fight between sasuke was and still is incredible. the fact that tthe animation was a little diff. was probably due to the fact that with some of the hits they were taking you wouldve seen blood and guts all over the place. with this change in animation it could show their bodies flexing a little bit to those extremely hard punches.
you have to realize some of the hardcore stuff happening in this fight never happended in the lee fight. but hey this is just an opinion

It really annoyed me becos the episode was FANTASTIC but it was completely ruined by the really bad animation. Why did they have to go and change it on the best episode... :( Hope it's a one off. I also woulda liked some music in the first part of the fight, seemed a bit dull

it was a great fight and i dint think the animation was too bad to tell you the truth. but i just think that the hokage battle and orochimaru's attempt to destroy konoha was too good. although it isnt really oen episode. theyre all great ones.

It was ok, but I thought the fight was better in the manga, since it was a little more toned down...

No giant Naruto chain, no piledrive facefirst into rock... etc.

It was the best fight first cuz i waited fer it a long tome ever since i read the manga and second no emotions just pure fighting and NAruto is kicking sasukes A**!but the next episode is going to be the last of there fight only two episodes?????fer the most important fight until now???????

This was the most action intesive episode ever!
Whenever the characters were still or doing something boring the drawing was top notch!
Because they had to draw so much the artists prolly had to cut down on quality!

i voted yes! i watched the ep like three times!!! but i must say i liked the Lee vrs Gaara fight more than the Lee vrs Kimi. Lee vrs kimi was funnier...but as for action and fighting...i like the Lee vrs Gaara more! it's probably cuz kimi was too grosse for me... :shock:

I think the animation was different because of the intensity of this fight. Its very different from the Lee vs Kimmimaru fight, which was quite understated, focusing on the drunken boxing style. To appreciate this style properly they would have to animate it more smoothly as its mainly close hand to hand.
Whereas this fight is very intense, with alot going on in a huge area. I'd say its more the animation style that changed rather than decreased in quality. Lee's drunken boxing is very stop start with good easing in and out. Whereas Sasuke vs Naruto is all power and speed. It also seems as though some CG has been used in this fight, though i cant be certain.

Have a good look at the missile-style Kyuubi Kage Bushin, the animation is quite nice, you get a real good feeling of the powers involved in this fight.

Also, how do they go 'flying' like that? ;)

Yeah , i have to agree , it was the best episode EVER, BUT seems like the artist had some kind of hand accident , or they hired a new one ?!?! wtf ? :roll:

Apparently they sent it to a special studio that specializes in fight scenes and had them do it instead of the normal crew.

one thing that i REALLY liked that wasnt in the manga was that punch he gave sasuke on the water where he went down like 50 feet and there was this tunnel of air that slowly filled up.

The battle animation was quite good but not much strategy. The strategy that was used by Naruto to defeat his enemies in earlier of his battles were much better imo. The climax of the next episode was so much like DBZ too...lame...I have the stronger power move...yay...I win!
