I just realised... Look at the big statue that is Stealing Gaara's demon. The Kyuubi means ninetails and there are 9 eyes. 2 of which are filled. Meaning that there are 4 people with demons inside of them that Akatsuki has yet to capture. I'll be excited to meet the 2 tails-8 tails.

Wow...Gai's team is awesome. I liked Neji's new attack, and it's nice to see TenTen doing something useful. Kisame's instant ocean was pretty cool too.

Um.. i'e been thinking, if it takes 3 days and 3 nights with the 10 akutsuki to do the technique where they remove the demon from the host. How does the 10 akutsuki member fit into all of this as there are only 9 tails; nine demons? If Orochimaru stayed would he ahve been left out? could this be the reason why he left? Because obviously he wouldof know about it because with him it took 3 days and 3 nights and with out him it is meant to take longer...

Also are the people outside the cave just clones? coz in 255 they mentioned something about kage Bunshin no jutsu?

Yup the people in the cave are Clones otherwise Kisame can't be fighting Gai's team and Itachi won't be able to confront Kakashi's team. Of course, the real ones could be in the cave and the runs running about could be Kage Bushin but thats just stupid to fight strong enemies wif a single Kage Bushin :)

I also think it's possible that Kisame has a demon sealed inside himself. That would explain his fishy appearance, as well as the presence of two open eyes on that statue the Akatsuki leader summoned. Neji's statement that Kisame has an amount of chakra similar to Naruto also points in that direction, since Naruto's demon is the reason he has so much chakra.

i seriously want to see whether or not kakashi team will fight itachi. The smart thing to do is probably just run...but i guess you cant out run itachi.

I think that akatsuki already has two demons in possesion and Shukaku will be there third. I'm guessing that Gai will stay out until he is needed. I'm hoping that team kakashi rushes Itachi and take him out quickly if it is only a clone. I also think that Kisame has a demon. I hope we get to see some kick ass jutus from Naruto and Kakashi since Kakashi knows over a thousand different jutsus. I also think that Sasuke is going to show up soon.

I dont think sasuke will show up any time soon.. Otherwise it will just become to muddled and all over the place, and it wont let us see how the characters have changed. Because i assume the ending will be something like Sasuke about to kill Itachi, Naruto jumping in and take the possibley fatal hit or something.

Itachi doesn't seem like the type of guy to "train" or come up with any new jutsus. Based on what I've seen of him he probably has not gotten 1 bit stronger. It seems tha he thinks he's reached his full potential. I doubt Kisame already has a demon. I think he is strong for 1 of 2 reasons. Either his chakra absorbing sword allows him to keep and store the chakra, or he is just naturally strong. I doubt that he already has a bijyuu. They spent 2 1/2 years preparing. I think that they Bijyuu's are sealed in that statue until all 9 are captured.

but man i was itching for Team Gai to fight against Itachi not team kakashi

There would be soo much to the fight between team gai vs itachi than the other way around

1. We can finally see the Bakyugen vs Sharingan to see wich clan is the Utmost superior the Most Powerful clan the Hyuga, or the Most Feared Clan The Uchia

2. we would also get to see if Gai was bluffing about his special training against an Uchia, see if looking at an opponents legs really would work

Doubt it... in this fight at least Sasuke would be on Naruto's side, you know the enemy of your enemy is your friend and all that.

I'm not going to even try and guess what's going to happen next in the plot. There's way too many loose ends, and unrevealed characters. But I doubt Sasuke will be showing his face quite yet, I expect him, Kabuto, and Orochimaru to show up after all is said and done... most likely standing over the head of the defeated Akatsuki leader... who will get pwned by Naruto's super new skill.

The leader of Akatsuki does have hair like yondaime, but he also has the kind of hair that the body that orochimaru took over has. But we know it isn't Orochimaru. Better episode than the last. Gai's team is gonna start getting their ars handed to them. I like the idea that Kakashi will distract Itachi while Naruto, the old lady, and Sakura go after Gaara. When Naruto and crew leave, thats when the Sasuke appearance would be an awesome entry (if there is to be a Sasuke appearance).

what makes you think so you have two jounins, a chunnin v kisame. granted that kisame probably has the advantage as of now seeing as there on water but. if gais team doesnt win then theyll at least give him a run for there money.

True, but they're not taking on all the akatsuki members all at once. Itachi and Kisame are both fighting 4 people at once, while the rest of the akatsuki are completing the jutsu, so I think that Kakashi and Gai's teams stand a good chance.

I was under the impression that Itachi and kisame were shadow clones? Because in Episode 255 (shannaro!) The 'leader of Akutsuki' said "... Everyone Pay attention to your real bodies..." and then shannaro! says down the bottom that they are using kage bushin no jutsu

The ones in the Akatsuki headquarters are clones, the ones they're fighting are the real body....

Which will probably be an advantage if they do reach the HQ. Since a clone is a lot easier then the real person to defeat.

I still think Kakashi and Itachi will fight 1v1. Kakashi will be like, "Naruto, you and Sakura have to save Gaara-sama." Sakura and Naruto leave. Itachi is like "Like I'll let you go." Kakashi says "You have no time to look away. I am your opponent." Or something to that effect.

This chapter was awsome! I want to see more of Gai's team kicking butt though. hopefully they can do some damage to Kisame it'll be lame if they all get beat up. *sigh* and Gai didn't even throw a punch in this chapter >_< I'm so bummed about that. but getting to see Lee Neji and Tenten throw down some moves was sweet, and OMG Tenten did something usefull!! lol I've been expecting her to die on this mission. but then there's still time for that I guess.

As for Kakashi and Itachi I don't think he'll be dumb enough to go it alone, I think that old lady Chiyo or whatever she's called will help him out.. I have a feeling Naruto and Sakura will run into Gai's team, and someone will end up saveing someone last second.

It's the first time we've actually seen Tenten active aside from 1v1 matches, if I'm not mistaken. Don't forget this is the first time you've seen Gai's team fight collectively. So chun-li er... tenten isn't like a "OMG they would've got owned if it wasn't for her." type of character.

Yup, when Jirayia was originally telling Kakashi about Akatsuki (I think it was in one of the eps in the early 80's), he said there were nine people in the group. Not sure if that's with or without Oro though.

That's how I understand it to be.

Gaara has 1 tail, Naruto has 9 tails. I think akatsuki has two already, the statue has 2 eyes out of 9 eyes open when it was sucking Gaara's beasts. Maybe the shark guy already got one since he has the most Chakara and his face (looks like shark gill) where Naruto's face (looks like fox hair) that reflect the type of beast he owns.

I'm guessing he's probably Jounin level as well. One doesn't go 2+ years learning directly from a Sannin without picking up at least a few tricks.

Plus Kakashi is counting on him for backup against Itachi. If Kakashi has faith in his abilities , we should too.

I think that Neji will bust out of that prison. He can emit chakra from all of his body and also push away physical objects using chakra. Why can't he push away the water?

No proof of that, his reasons for quitting are ambiguos but the most likely answer is that he had his own agenda's concerning Konoha that he wanted to carry out. In a prior issue the Akatsuki make reference about how someday they will be able to kill Orochimaru, why say that unless they aren't actually able kill him currently.
Akatsuki may be S Class but Oro is a Sannin.

maybe they think Orochimaru is pretty harmless for now so they'll deal with him later. or they're just keeping an eye on him for other purposes.
