Bleach has finally become DBZ

Someone pointed out the similarities between bleach and dbz in another thread and with the latest chapter it has become all to obvious. Why did they have to make aizen so much stronger than ichigo. One chapter hes lightning fast stopping byakuga ban kai now aizen stopd ichigos attack with a finger.
Now ichigos power level is going to have to rrise dramatically and then this will continue to hapen untill we get tothe point where finding enemy as strong as ichigo seems stupid.

actually i find naruto to be more similar to dbz. but yes i agree with you powers should be a slow progression. they shouldnt just introduce a guy thats ungodly when it comes to strength right after he just beat a guy that was ungodly strong. stupid.

I think you guys aren't taking everything into account. I mean Ichigo couldn't have too much in terms of reserves left after the fight with Bakuya(it was a pretty even match up). I realize that we where kinda given some impression that Orihime heeled some of his physical wounds, but I doubt she could replenish his stamina that quickly. So it's not DBZish it's just well placed for story continuation is all and is giving them some reason of what will undoubtedly come later on in the series. Yes I realize that Aizen's incredibley strong compared to everyone right now, but everyone's been involved in fights within pretty close timing to this event. Also take into consideration Aizen Bankai he may not be that much stronger than everyone, just smarter with his abilities. Oh well that's my two cents(+ a quater).

i think they all have the similarities (trying to achieve the greater power) but DBZ and bleach in my opinion are verry different. and also bleach is better.

Yeh hes wrong earlier in the series someone said that hitsugiya had orchestrated the whole series event to try and steal the executioners soul slayer. I assumed that he stole that sword while the ichicgo/byakuga battle happened. but its pretty obvious it didnt.

id say its already there on power levels, but what seperates this from dbz is that dbz was very linear. frieza wouldn't stop and say "im not you're enemy...its...piccolo!!" dbz had no twists whatsoever, apart from "omg friezas still alive" or "dr gero wants revenge!"

the aizen twist was so well done, he seemed one of the good guys then he becomes the ultimate baddy. tbh i thought he was a pretty naff character as a captain, with the glasses and everything. then he comes back and is the mastermind it gives the need to anihilate!

i agree with u- the only reason why i even watch bleach since i saw all those powers revving up is because of better characterizations and developments as well as good plot twists and themes

Didn't Ichigo destroy that thing? You know, the big execution spear/cleaver thing that turns into a phoenix. I thought he held it off when Rukia (sp?) was righta bout to be executed, then he .. well, he straight up tore that thing up. :shock:

God I am sick of people complaining about naruto and bleach being "like dbz", I swear the people who say this have not seen any other long episode fighting anime, that is what they are like not dragonball z. How else do you expect the series to progress, Ichigo is heaps more powerful than everyone else and defeats them in one shot? Then you would be ocmplaining about that. I admit that Dragonball Z was a shitful show, but not because there were powerful enemies but because there was no story line. Bleach has reasons for the new people to be powerful and reasons for what they are doing. If you hate that you think it has become like dragonball Z then stop watching/reading it and dont keep complaining about what is happening. Maybe you could go read a shounen manga, but I guess then you would just complain about something else stupid somewhere else.

good points in many an area- but dont classify dbz as a "shitful show"- it is a classic. even though its plotlines were very repetitive.

yes yes we all can agree about this, DBZ entertained probally most of us, it keep us in that little state when we watch anime, a content state, wanting to know what happens next, even if it took 10 eps to end a battle, lol, well ya we all liked it at 1 time, animes have progressed and if not for dbz alot of animes wouldnt be around, and im sure the creators of other animes took dbz's mistakes and put it into consideration not to do them over in other animes, so dont be dissin, and ya stop with the jest like dbz thing, cuz whenevere there is an anime that goes on for a long time the person becomes stronger and faster and more powerful till the point dbz was at, its anime what u gona do bout it?

we moved on to other animes because they gave better plots and a more fluid increase in power than just "do this training and you'll become 10 times more powerful, and just in time for the new baddies"

although dbz was that milestone that got most of us into anime.

In my opinion, I think DBZ dragged on for too long >_>.it was only the plotline that did that, plus maybe the fact toriyama was forced into creating a plot like android saga and cell saga (forced to change it to what it was)... or so i heard.

still though, thought the music was well done for when gokuu went ssj for first time. I WON'T LET YOU....GET...AWAY WITH THIS GRRRRR!!!

DBZ was awsome it brought me into anime and yes it kinda got boring to see the same thing over and over but bleach is wat different first off the all got swords and theres no aliens if any anime is getting close to dbz its naruto like the fight between neji and naruto total kaoken(sp?) attack :P

ok to rephrase it. animes like dbz, the on going shonens that involve massive power ups are only bad in when the series is already completed. but when they are on the air and current as in the episode being released everyweek they are pretty much the top rated show. and then i said oh wait look at one piece cause i believe that when this show is finished or rather a couple years after that people are going to say it was horrible or this and that much like they do about DBZ

but ill finish with this
