i dunno kisame's sword has the ability to absorb chakra. remember when naruto was using the kyuubi chakra with one swipe kisame took it all away from him.

Wow, Gai vs Kisame! This should be a really cool battle. I'm honestly not sure who will win this...from a storyline point of view, it seems too early for them to start killing off Akatsuki members, but Gai, Lee, and Neji are all very powerful. I think Neji is at a disadvantage in this fight simply because Samehada could suck up the chakra from a Kaiten, but Gai and Lee excel at close-quarters fighting.
Poor Gaara :cry: ...I hope they don't kill him. He's such an awesome character, especially now that he's a good guy.

I'd say Gaara would still own w/o Shukaku. Gai will prolly lose to Kisame cuz he has a cold. Everyone thinks Kisame has a demon because in 255 everyone is all like "that jutsu is appropriate for you" or something to that effect. Kisame does have the most chakra out of all the Akatsuki members though (cheap ass samehama <--phonetics--<<<) so he'll last a while. Should be interesting nevertheless. Naruto should just kick everyones ass w/ using all of his old school moves. Save the good stuff :!: 8)

this is my best guess right now: since garaa was born with the shukaku once extracted he may either die or still have the same abilities without the transformation but i cant really see him survivng because garaa and shukaku have a symbiotic relationship. meaning that they can't live without each other since they shared the same body since the day garaa was born. even if shukaku is put into a new body and survives garaa would die cuz he lost a part of himself that he grew dependant on. its like taking a vital organ. but thats all just pure speculation on my part, im not a doctor yet.

That's not totally accurate. That wasn't really Kyuubi Naruto. More like a quick energy replenishment. Take a look at the last Naruto and Sasuke fight. You can pretty much compare it in a level 1 and level 2 state. Now compare that Naruto to Kimimaro. Me says Naruto > Kimimaro everytime. Not to mention the fact that Naruto has been pretty much fighting since Jirobou. Kimimaro was strong, but not very impressive IMPO. Kyuubi rasengan would've given level 2 Kimimaro a good "fonging"! :x

i think they are each searching for powerful demons to make themselves more powerful and orochimaru feels that ultimate power can only be achieved by learning every jutsu that exist which is why he is no longer a part of akatsuki. i bet that it is their difference in opinion about what ultimate power is that drove orochimaru away from the group. the main reason why orochimaru developed his secret technique was to continue living because acquriring the type of knowledge he seeks will take many lifetimes, and sasuke's abilities will help him find what he is looking for a couple lifetimes sooner.

I have to agree with what was said earlier. When person A beats person B and person B beats C, it does not nessasarily imply that A will beat C. We have to remember that certain people are stronger fighting certain opponents.

For example. Neji is almost unbeatable in close range battle's, but stuggles with opponents that use more long range techniques. This is applicable to most of the characters.

With this in mind, I would have to agree that Kisame drew a bad match where 3 of his 4 opponents are excellent up close, and 2 of them use almost no chakra techniques. Even if Itachi were to show up, Neji would probably be as close to a natural enemy as a sharingan user can have.
