I mean what ever game you played the longest repetitively has to be your favorite game.

i really dont know the story behind any of it i just killed everyone i saw. in missions that were less then the admiral setting i ran around using a handgun with a bunch of flash bangs and arrested half the people on every stage, and if you mean the stage after Pius (guy with white hair and blue shirt) it is easy you just have to take your time

My favorite game.. and I know it's quite obvious.. is Final Fantasy VII.... it's the only game I can replay and infinite number of times and never get tired of it.

well, that and Xenogears. I don't play too many non-rpg games.

This goes back to the day of super nintendo...Gaia. Ever heard of it lol or how about Mario 64? It was awsome back in the day when the gaming scene was still evolving to new heights but now those games are of the past...

My favorite game of all time would definitly be the Baldur's Gate Series. I've played both games several times already, and I just can't get enough. My favorite non-pc game is Magic: The Gathering. Best card game ever.

Ahhh Ill have to write my top 3...

tjher be some great games out there like...

"Nights - into dreams" Wow that was a real good game AND not forgetting "Christmas nights limited edition"

But as for me I guess it goes like this,

3) Castlevania - Symphony of the night - Now here is a more random game and a break from square as Kanomi deliver what I think is to be one of the most excellent games of all time,

A vampire that hunts other vampires is rare... but I guess Alucard is a trend setter because that is what he is, As the son of dracula Alucard (Dracula backwards) is fully against the plans of his father and in his eyes humans have there own destiny and are not the cattle that so many vampire like to think they are but who is powerful enough to go against the dark master and make sure that the world is safe from the fangs of the night,

Well there are a few people like Richter Belmont A fully prepped Vampire hunter turned dark by the evil magic of the grand wizard "Shaft" and now fights for the darkness, and a sweet young girl named Maria who seems to have some skill getting through the evil filled castle,

So many small elements make this game that I really cant list them from the cool extra moves that weapons give you to the MASS amount of secrets you can hunt down and to the little bonus scenes and tricks like putting the disk in a CD player and chillin out to the song hidden with a quick messag4e by alucard himself,

Good would be wrong, Great wouldn't cut it, excellent is almost there so how about, The third best game I have ever played and that's a FACT.

2) Xenogears - another squaresoft game no less But WOW, Another gripping story and a rainbow of emotions arching across the games immense story, This is a game where if you are not concentrating then you will not have a CLUE who is on who's side where they come from what there intentions are for,

As a child Fei (our hero) was left with a village chief and has never truly known his real parents but that has never stopped him from being a true Gentleman as he is loved by the village people and there is nobody that sees him apart from the rest of them,

But one tragic day Fai finds himself defending the village he loves and as if by fate he relies on an empty Gear (mech/robot made for hand to hand fighting) that is laying in the middle of the village, He boards it with best intentions but fate is once again cruel and he ends up killing almost everyone and destroying his home,

Forced out and carrying a burden that many can only guess the pain of Fei goes about looking for a path to walk racked with guilt and confusion,

In my eyes this game is a masterpiece and leaves nothing out, a good fighting system and even the 2D to 3D is cool to see, A game that didn't even get to the UK and I would place it over every other game that did (save for one game)

1) Final fantasy Vll - A story that grabs at your heart and squeezes until you wanna cry, An amazing tale of a guy (cloud) that no longer cares about everybody else and lives for himself takes on a mission with a group of people that are trying to save the plaint, There he finds a reason to want to fight for something and also goes head to head with the GREATEST bad guy there has EVER been (Sephiroth),

Throughout the game you are met with betrayal, love, happiness, hope, sadness, pride, and loss (Who could forget the Aries storyline) and everything else that a person can feel, Bosses that are everywhere and have a reason for fighting,

Also there is a message in this game that goes deeper then most and that is that Greed is a large part of the world with people doing anything for money and power and is truth people need to step back and look at what we are doing to the world we live in, This planet is being destroyed by weapon testing and the taking of all the oil, the emission that break down the ozone layer and will cause the deaths of countless creatures that survive on the weather and sure enough just like the story of FFVll we are killing the very thing that gives us life Maybe in a different way but still with the same effects eventually and here in the real world there is no such thing as a hero anymore, there is nobody that can stand up and change the world just disgusting businessmen that will line there pockets and not care about the future past their stocks on market, so we are as good as doomed anyway.. its a sad fate,

BUT lets not get into that bit the game DID have a man that stood against everything and cut strait through it all, alongside his crew of heartfelt companions there is no stopping the great cloud from saving everybody, AND to top it off and this is the part that made me feel really sad Nobody knows that it is them that saved the world... they just do it and that's all there is to it no praise or anything... that's cool but sad at the same time.

At the time this game was great in most every way and was given a 9.6 by gamespot and though Final fantasy Vlll got a higher score it was never truly as good,

I believe that Final fantasy 7 will live on as one of the first if not the ONLY games that could make you stop for a second in real life and ask yourself "Is there something I should be fighting for".

Well there ya go guys I don't wanna bore ya with any more so here is my top 3 AND the reasons too,

Oh and I'm playing Xenogears even now... something about the new Onimusha that made me wanna play it again (Ain't got a clue why that is though)

Final Fantasy 6

A story of a time after a war which caused magic to disappear from the world. City's were being rebuilt and people were starting to recover. However, A special entity known as an "Esper" had been found. And had been known to teach those who wield the shard, its magical attributes.

A man, named "Kefka" has found these "Espers" and plans to use it to destroy the world. Kefka had already invented the Magitek armor, which was class 1 fighting armor. Capable of mass destruction. Although cities stood valiantly against kefkas power, when he wanted something badly enough, all he would have to do is ask. 16 heores, from all different parts, origions, and skills have joined forces to defeat kefka. And learn magic to help end a war.

Although they are all strangers at first, they soon start to work as a team and overcome many obstacles. From Level 1-99, hundreds of spells to learn, summon the espers such as bahamut and crusader. 2 worlds, 16 characters, 1 enemy.

I love this game, absolutly amazing storyline and exceeds perfect 2D game graphics. The battles are Time-based, but you can never become too overpowered. (Unless you get the best weapons and dual wield.) Great Main characters, Terra, Locke. Its a game not many have tried, and should. Its a classic.

There's so many games I remember just sitting in my basement with a twelve pack of mountain dew and some chocolate donuts devising strategies..but if I had to pick, it'd be Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Golden Sun, Golden Sun II, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance(Great game!), and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time(SNES)

My favorite game is the original mushroom chomping Super Mario Bros.

When i was in kindergargen and 1-2 grades, my mom played that game while i was at school, and she beat it before me, hehe. I was pissed off, and finally beat it myself, destroying my mom's record. It's such a simple game, but incredibly entertaining, which got me addicted to the game.

My second favorite is Street Fighter 2(in its various incarnations) because me and my friends would play it all the time in gradeschool and middleschool, and sometimes even to this day. It's a refined fighting game with great depth and very complex tactics among nearly all players. Teaching my friend Andy the hadouken and shoryuken motions is one of my finest memories when it comes to video games.
