Im curious to know how fast the naruto anime is catching up with the manga, and i would like to know what chapter naruto 124 is, in terms of manga?

It's 213-214 roughly. Slight changes.

So far 251 counting this weeks that will be out any time now.

Usually one episode covers 2-3 manga chapters. Usually 2, sometimes 3. I went back and looked at the manga and the begining of episode 124 is the same as the beginning of chapter 213. That's why I said "213-214 roughly".
