im getting the game it should be here in a couple days but i would like to inform everyone here if you have the game or are thinking of getting it i will help anyone with problems on it. I will post things about the characters and the moves they do aslong as you want it. is this a good idea.....?

hmmm as u can see gaara isnt really cheap.. only his special is itz hard to dodge really... but mizuki is really!!! cheap his shuriken can dmg up to 3/4 of ur life.. and also kakashi (either one) is cheap u just have to keep hittin down A and hell do hella dmg

Well i really had no problem with Mizuki but in the 4 player mode it was also Zazuba who was really cheap also. His range alone could wipe out all of the other 3 characters in one swing. :!:

i found that with sharingan no kakashi and shikamaru, you can easily juggle your opponent with your combos. orochimaru i think has the most strongest combos, but i dont understand is why his special is only like 2 hits, that punch he gives you before he throws onto the ground isn't counted, but then again his special is strong enough as it is. but sharingan no sasuke has the cheapest move out of all, its the up + a move...
but after a while, when you figure out all the timing of the moves, you can easily reverse anytime you want, which makes mp even more fun as it is...

the cheapest character in this game is BY FAR sharingan sasuke. It takes a while to unlock him, you need lots of freakin cash. But it's do-able if you do the shadow fights a bunch of times. S.S. is cheap because you hit up and A at the same time and he instantly teleports and attacks the enemy from above, its like a free replacement. Yeah, you could sidestep out of the way, but you have to have wicked fast reactions to do it, and in that case, S.S. can just do it again...and again...and again. It's annoying and will take you forever to learn to counter it, and when you do, you wont be able to do it 100%. Plus, he is one of the fastest characters. He also has a cool air special (jump in the air and hit special). But believe me, S.S. is the cheapest character out there. Then I would say shikamaru. Dont underestimate sakura either :wink: Her throw is the best, just like Ino's and she has the fastest "block-counter" move.

just found out that if you use sharingan kakashi, you can reverse anyone special and you dont even need to have your special bar full. so whenever someone does their special, reverse it with back + a, and kakashi copies the special being done on you. but kakashi can only copy some of the specials, not all, but regardless, back + a dodges or copies the special. kakashi is the only one that can dodge specials with the back + a move...

u can copy anyone that does'nt have bloodline limit or an item like zabuza. if ur opponent does i think S.Kakashi just reappears behind them and hits them.

Me and my friend were playing it all day yesterday and its freaking awesome, speically when we figured out the Primary Lotus.
If anyone looked at the manaul and checked the character page out, could you tell me why the "Y" button is in the speical yellow box like the "X" button and how to use it?

No character is really "cheap" in the game except for Orochimaru (and his nasty special). Other than that, no attack is too much for a player that can dodge and use replacements at the right time.
Everyone's got a SCII style Back+B move also.
It's an awesome fighting game.

I've played the game on several occassions and personally I don't reckon anyone is really that cheap. Obviously there are some moves that are cheap but its nothing major in my opinion, nothing that can't be handled.

Also I agree that the game should've had a few more characters, it has a lot but it has missed out a couple of valuble people!!! Also, apart from Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura, they havn't got a full team e.g. Hinata, Kiba...but missing Shino! Neji, Lee...missing Tenten! Which is kinda annoying since in team battle I like to stick to the proper teams!

Also I wished they could've used Sharingan Kakashi and Sharingan Sasuke as different costumes instead of individual character slots...then they might've been able to put in other characters like the 3rd.

Well, that's what I think anyway..... :idea:

well there aren't any cheap characters......just some cheap moves...such as Gaara's sand lift thing and shikamru dodges anything thats thrown at him as long as he's facing it...all around the fun of the game is in the multiplayer......whole lot of fun.....the kawarimi option was a perfect and damn cool addition.....

Except youre not. There is no majorli cheap character in the game besides Akamaru. I havent seen you guys talk about anithing actualli cool or usefull. Did anione even know Kakashi has an air grab? And who on here can land a Chidori on a falling player? Theres so much more but I realli dont think I should post all of our techniques.

you guys are stupid..you should not be hit by and jutsu if your not being hit in a combo or are getting up from the ground.. those are the only acceptions because every jutsu can be easily dodged and you always have a free hit on them except for gai..rocklee's jutsu should never hit anybody because it is the easiest to dodge..there are no cheap moves in the game because they are all easily avoided..i bet you guys didnt even know about chip damage..you didnt know zabuza, gai, rocklee, kiba's b attack, etc.

p.s. For all you Shika players out there - BBBA-AAA-then keep hitting B till they land on the floor, and when their getting up, rush them, and Jutsu their dumb ass, It'll do about 90 percent of their life.

Naruto Gamecube help huh? Well doesnt seem you guys are helping anithing besides giving me a headache. You all are noobs that dont know how to play at all. The cheapest characters are Karasu and Akamaru. Although if you guys tried to use those cheap characters on me Id just kill you in no time flat. I bet you guys want to say that Ino is the worst character in the game. Or maybi say its too hard to kill anione with Shikamaru. Or maybi the Desert Coffin is the hardest Jutsu to evade, OH WAIT. My bad dogs. You alreadi said that.

I guess it depends on the person, because shikamaru is really good. I can beat the level four people easily with him. I think shikamaru is one of the best characters in the game. I mean as well as Lee and Gaara. And Gai cause he is almost like using Lee. I think it depends on your fighting style who you think is best.

ok.. i have a REAL question... I hope someone can clear this up for me.. according to a review on liksang.com ..Naruto 2 for GC is playable on a LAN (given you have the broadband adapter of course).. is this for real? According to my friend, he read somewhere that this is true.. and supports up to 25 players in one [very large] arena. I find it hard to believe, but some things i've seen and heard.

Can anyone clear this up for me? If it's true.. where's the option to do it!?

Well, I've come up with a question, so I might as well post it here (I don't know if having 2 posts in a row in one topic is looked down upon here or not, but there is 3 days between these posts so I'll do it anyway).

With Rock Lee, when you do his secondary lotus super, he usually just kicks them up once then wraps them up and slams them into the ground, but I've also seen him do it where instead he kicks them up multiple times before wrapping them and slamming them into the ground. Does anyone know how you do the second one as opposed to the first?

Hmm...

That can be tricky to do. I usually get it by opening one gate, then doing Omote Renge. Sometimes. Maybe it's in how you do the technique.

I tried doing that, and apparently, that version of Omote Renge only happenbes when you fight Gaara. Sad thing is, it doesn't matter, 'cuz it does the same amount of damage. Oops.

I am hoping to get the Naruto 2 game for my Birthday and i was researching it and saw that i needed something called "Freeloader" and it appearently could come in a combo rof like $88 so my questions are what is Freeloader, how does it work, and does the Naruto Game have Gaara as a playable Character?
Freeloader is a program you get (basically, a disc) that you put in your Gamecube player, that will allow you to load and play Import games.

I don't know the technology behind it, but it's very simple to use.. put the Freeloader disc in, it tells you what to do, and it will load your Import game. piece of cake, believe me ;)

And yes, the Naruto 2 game has Gaara as a player. Even though I loathe fighting against him.. he's so frustrating to fight against in this one u_u
