Is Aizen Stronger than Ichimaru? From the looks of chapter 169, Ichimaru seems to be following Aizen.

i have a feeling that he is...if you remeber right when ichigo got to the soul society aizen said somthing to ichimaru around the lines of "youd do best not to underestimate me ichimaru" well find out pretty soon i think

I think that Ichimaru is one sneaky creepy bastard and he is probably hiding his full potential from Aizen. I think he might be waiting for the perfect moment to get the hou gyoku for his own reasons.

he wont defeat him any time soon. I'd say there's gunna be fairly long training saga while they wait for aizen and the menos to return and begin their attack.

Simple, he's either going to:
1. Try and destroy Soul Society+world;
2. Try and conquer Soul Society+world.

But that's only if he's able to, Aizen's pretty sharp himself.

anybody wanna give me a explanation on why the fu&*k Aizen is so frakin strong.i can understand him beating ichigo because his wounds weren't completly healed but how in the hell can he stop his bankia with one fricking finger.he proably beat the 10th captain because he saw his hypnosis thingy but he beat the fox guy to with a hgih class demon magic.but Aizen is wat stronger than ichimaru.and i wonder if ichimaru was holding back when he was fighting the 10th captain

As far as I know, Aizen was one of the first captains. Ichimaru was once his vice-captain. So he's probably got a few extra miles of experiences on the others. So I gues the reason that he's so strong is that he's been around for so long. Either that or some kind of genius. That's my 2 cents. :?

yes he has been around for a while just as long as the 13th captain and that other guy with the flashy jacket over his captain cape.but it seems like he is almost invincible.how in the hell did he stop ichigo's bankia with 1 finger thats insane.and i doubt the 1st captain,13th captian or that guy with the flashy jacket over his captain uiform could beat him and there were the first captains(not saying founder obviously there were more captains since soul societ is heaven.)

Yeah I agree, he's insanely strong. He probably also experimented on himself with the hollow-shinigami mixing thing. Though now he reminds me of Orochimaru, except less snake-like.

Ok here's why he's so strong. I posted this in another thread but it applies here.

I think Urahara is just as strong as Aizen. I think so because of some of the things Aizen was saying about the potential of shinigami's. (4 types) And it was these limits that caused Urahara to create that device. I think Aizen is at the limit in all 4 catagories, that's why he is so much stronger than the other captains. I also think Urahara is at the limit as well, and the old captain also.

btw that was just another theory on my part.
