i cant say i have a preference... it all depends on how the game is set up with story and character backgrounds..... to me all RPG's are fun regardless of their play style... they just need a great backstory and plot.

I'm an avid reader, so I guess I'd really prefer turn based because I agree, the story tends to be alot better in turn based games. But there have been a couple of action ones that have had good stories.

I prefer action games but its not that I don't like turn based. I just haven't played many turned based games. Its been a long while since I played any turned based games...any great ones out?

Me too. And both of them have advantages.

turn based- you can have more time to decide what you're going to do
action- you can dodge attacks and wack away at any time!
