The hollow thing was SO cool.

Also, manga readers are saying there was a HUGE mistake because ichigo's mask had 3 stripes, not 2.
Without spoiling, can anyone say if this IS a mistake? or is it not important

Thats actually said in the ep. Ichigo's and Rukia's powers were separate within him and Kuchiki Byakuya only destroyed RUkia's part while Ichigo's own part protected itself.

Also, if you remember back to the first ep, Rukia said that a sign of a Death God's power is the size of his soul slayer, and Ichigo's is huge!!!

Here's a tiny spoiler, Ichigo is later described as having Captain level power.

Yeah Ichigo is amazing!! Hahahaha... by the way I don't know why but in my opinion the part when Ichigo comes out with that hollow mask seemed more scary in the manga :shock: See for yourself!

its the shadowing under the mask, it looks soooooo sinister. In the anime, it looks too clean so its not as freaky

The Death God/Hollow didn't look as scary because in my opinion the quality of drawing for this episode wasn't all that, you're always bound to have one or two episodes with lower quality of drawing.

Anywho did anybody else thought that the way the store manager just kneeled down and started crying after Ichigo hit him with the bottom of his soul slayer, looked really cute? I wanted to just say awwwwww.

Predictions for next episode, Ichigo will destroy the hat instead of knocking it off but it takes him more than 5 minutes more like 2 days (perhaps more i would say). Or maybe he knocks it off and there is something underneath it? Don't worry folks this isn't a spoiler just my predictions.

Can anybody tell me where all the white clothing came from on Ichigo and is he going to still have that when he becomes a death good again. Or is it just the remains of the binding spell from the store clerk? Thanx.

Lol, that green guy with the hat looks/sounds pretty strong to me.

It WILL probably take ichigo about a day or two.

Plus, the green guy with the hat is also confident and such, hes never mad or surprised when he sees something big, it makes me think he can do better or hes stronger than that.

The white cloth is the remains of the binding spell that the big guy cast on Ichigo. Urahara is seriously strong. As I've read the manga and done some digging I've seen what his level is and I've posted it elsewhere.

Also, how long it will take ichigo to beat him will be dependent on how soon he can summon his soul slayer, since its broken, he now needs to know the SS real name. The whole point of the training that he's going trhough is get Ichigo up to lieutenant level ability. That is, knowing the blade's name and being able to change its form

I think this is by far the best episode yet. I can't wait for 20 to come out :D.

If he does know the soul slayer's name it will turn into that kind of 1/2 butcher knife, 1/2 scyth kind of thing shown in the ending credits, but as we have seen from episode 17 (?) the guy with the wierd eyebrows can change it back so does it mean that Ichigo will get to change his soul slayer blade back if he knows his soul slayer's name as well?

nope, when he came out of the shaft his original blade was broken so there's no point to him changing it back.

lol when ichigo hit urahara and urahara sat down and put his hands on his face and cries..yah that was like funnay..haha. the white clothing probably was just the left over from the first binding spell the big dude casted..or maybe its from the hollow..can`t be too sure. xD
