The Evil of the Quincy's..

Ok, why aren't ORIHIME and CHAD causing the SAME damage as the Quincy's?
Does they're style of attack not KILL hollows, only send them to soul society? That doesn't make sense..
So aren't Orihime and Chad causing the same damage as the Quincy's?

Ichigo sends the hollows souls to Soul Society cause he is a death god, a quincy completely destroys the hollow including it soul wich will eventually lead into unbalance in both worlds wich leads to destructing of the world.

Chad and Orohime can destroy the hollows to same goes for those freaky kids and the assistance of Uruhara. I think they send the hollows to soul society to cause they kill them for the better good, Quincy's destroy hollows with hatred and vengence.

I thought the Shinigami(the sword) made them go to the Soul Society, not the intent.

the sword isnt called shinigami. shinigami is death god(the person), Zanpakutou is the name of the swords. but since they havent explained it in the manga yet(i'm current) my opinion is that the explaination that makes the most sense is the "powers came from ichigo" idea.

wait a sec...when ichigo and the quincy dude did a battle all he did is slash the hollows right? and they go automatically to SS. So if Orihime and Chad got thier pwers from ichigo that means all they hafto do is "destroy" the hollow and it will automatically be sent to SS...

i dunno if im right or wrong, but i think ichigo "stamps" the ghost for them to go to SS while all he needs to do is slash the hollow for them to go to SS as well... imo.

i dont think so cause ichigo is a death god, he has that power to send them to ss cause he is a death god. The others just destroy m.. I think we will get an explaination soon from Uruhara.

but its kinda wierd, they should make like a new way of showing the hollows being vanished to tell either the hollow being destroyed or being sent to ss.

From what they said in ep 14 the quincies refused to listen to the death gods and thats why they were eliminated. Maybe they could have sent them to soul society if they had wanted to but killing them as a punishmeant seemed more logical to the quincies so they continued to do that instead. This is just a guess but it would seem strange if only a soul reaper (Zanpakutou) coul send them to soul society as death gods could use demon arts as well to send them to soul society.

i think that chad and orihime both send hollows to ss cause their power is derived from ichigo right? so since ichigo sends souls to ss with his zanpakutou (or however you spell it) wouldnt they send hollows to ss with their respective abilities?

I'm not too sure about orihime's power being derived from ichigo's. Shun'ou says that were born because of ichigo and that they were the power of Orihime's soul. (I'm going off the sub here, and the translation may have lost some of the real meaning so I could be wrong). When Ichigo faced off Orihime's brother, her power was triggered, but it was during the invasion of Hollows that her power truly manifested.
Similarly for Chad, his power has always been there. The invasion of Hollows also triggered his power to manifest.

However, their abilities break the hollow's mask thereby sending them to SS, while the Quincy's power destroyed the entire Hollow, and thus the soul within.

Well at least thats what I think

I think breaking the mask is what Quincy's do aswell.

On the other hand, the Mod Soul tried to completely kill the hollow remember? Maybe he didn't want to send it to the soul society since his purpose was to DESTROY hollows.

I think ICHIGO'S soul power not the hollow's triggered orihime/chad, but they DID have some trace of it originally.

this energy arrow may destroy every part of hollow when others powers destroy just the body freeing (freeing? can i say that :P :P ??) the spirit so it can go to hell or soul society.

The thing I dont understand is what happens after the arrow destroys the hollows, do they go to hell because of their deeds of a hollow or do they cease to exist completly?

Another thing to remember is that the arrow can hit any part of the Hollow's body and it vanishes. Whereas, Ichigo and the death gods go for powerful overhead downstrokes that destroy the mask. Ichigo will occasionally chop all the way through, but thats because he's attacking from above and depends on the Hollow, whether it crawls or walks.

I think I said that in my previous post. After Ichigo stopped Orihime's brother, she andTatsuki both could see things, but it wasn't until the Hollow invasion that Orihime's power came out.

Chad always had a small bit of his spirit power coming out. If you think back to the episode with the bird in the cage, you'll remember that he sort of had a sense that there was something there that he couldn't see. It wasn't until the Hollow invasion that he could actually use his power actively.

The problem with the destroying the body theory is demon arts. The spell rukia used on one fo the hollows a few eps back made a huge explosion (it did crap all to the hollow but it still made a huge bang) If that had worked there is no way the hollows body would have been saved. I still stand by my theory that the quincies wnated to kill the hollows and thats why they did it not because they didnt have deathgod powers or something similar. Its the only theory I can think of that doesn't have any flaws. Although were most likley all wrong and it will be explained as some stupid little thing we all missed.

Thats actually not altogether true. The sword is more like a key to soul society. If you remember some of the eps where Ichigo finds wandering ghosts and sends them off, he merely touches them with the sword but he needs to say some words and release some of his poewr before they go on their way.

In the end i think that so few ppl are capable of seeing and dealing with hollows that the soul balance can be sustained as explained in the anime. The talented few, like the Quincy's, Chad, Orihime and Urahara's group would most lilkely destroy the hollow completely, because they dont have the death god powers to cleanse the soul. There are far more death gods than there are humans of this sort so I think the balance is maintained.

i would disagree with last sentence.
if there is one person who cannot send souls to society but destroys them will after centuries unbalance the system. and in once city we have 7 ppl who can see ghosts and 3 of them can fight them and are not gods
so around the world many of similar ppl live and are fighting hollows. so end of the world will come pretty fast if they dont send hollows to hell or soul society.

i think that their are levels of the spirit power. if you have enough spirit power, you can c ghosts. if you have a high spirit power you get a special "gift" [power]. though it doesn't really say how mortals get these spirit powers.. and i think that chad and orihime cant send the hollows to the soul society, only because its all up to the soul slayers master, which is the death god.

i think that ichigo helped them gain more spirit powers since he is a very big source they all could see or sense after seing ichigo or getting in contact with him ofcourse quincy not included
