Halo on the computer and ps2 haters.

Almost all the good xbox games are on the computer and they are beter quality and mroe fun when they are since playing online is so much more fun and so much easyer. Halo is on the computer and the multiplayer is so much beter then the xbox version but the single player of halo is sooo boring. once you go thru it once the only thign you can do is go thru it again on legendary witch isnt realy that hard either. Most ppl who like halo andthink its the best game are ppl who hate ps2. Its funny how all the xbox games that are rated by xbox magazine are geting 9/10's form them. i mean comon talk about favoritism they give themselves good ratings so ppl will buy there games. i personaly play all the systems and computer games i have favorites but stilll favor the computer because of the higher end graphix and muliplayer abilitys. I like my PC for Halo... but I like playing most games with 2+ people, which is why we have a GC.

yeah from what i have seen computer games beat out consoles usually in graphic and such, BUT i would, like fcuk, still rather play them on the console

yeah having a game on pc doesnt mean it will always run well trust me you have to have high standards to run a game smoothly on PC and oyu iknow all that expensive hardware trust me an some hardware in some stores have a bad stock which means the hardware is defective.ITs stupid stuff really.But im a xbox and PC gamer and they both go online so bahh and yes online is alot funner and people think your a nerd for going on a message board well idiot sdo.

pc gaming OWNS console gaming, especially if you have a rig, i can pump the graphics to such beauty taht a console can never match no matter how beautiful a console may look. Online has been with the pc for so long... and its just now getting onto consoles i mean consoles are so left behind that its a joke. Also i can script and such with a pc :) which i CANT do with consoles. And about you rhalo comment, i have to STRONGLY disagree with the halo for pc being better. THe pc version of halo was poorly written compared to the xbox version, which lead to occassional instances of slowdown and a max of only about 30 fps which is pretty slow compared to other first person shooters out there especially a game like Unreal Tournament where you get a minimum of about 60 fps.... The pc version of halo blows compared to the xobx but taht is just me.

your correct but the expensive parts just to get it and then you have to keep them up and running well and keep spyware nad crap off so it won't use up ram then you have to have a decent video card so that it requires less ram and wont use up so much of your ram space.Then you have to get a decent sound card and some speakers but you should already have the speakers.The you mus thave lots of disk space.then your set to go on your PC experience lol.

well i have a good sound card, and i use studio quality headphones instead so i can pick up even the most minute sound. also i use SPybot to own spy and addware.

While i do favor the Xbox i own all three major systems. PC gaming has never really got my attention. I've tried a few games Baulders Gate 2 was pretty good but at the end of the day i'd rather sacrifice the graphics and us my box. and it's worth owning a PS2 for the FF series alone. and a gamecube for metriod and an xbox for Halo. but if a game is out for all three i go with the box,

well , if you think about it, the money you spend on actually buying the console you can spend on expanding the parts in yoru pc. PC parts are getting cheaper LIke just recently i upgraded my motherboard and proc, for about $300 i incrased my proc speed by about 1.2 ghz , and when you think about it, that is pretty worth it. iIF you saved the money you spend on buying consoles into upgradeing your pc, it will even out in the end. (w00t finally at 3ghz :D ) I am an Xbox/Ps2 fan myself, but thta is because i have left over money , GET A JOB ... taht is my biggest suggestion to you. A few weeks of work, and not only will you have enough to do more then a full system over haul, but have some spare cash.

I love both, but I have to go with PC.

I'd rather update my PC for about 300 bucks every 3 years then have to buy consoles and every game with them..... This is why the world of pirating is such a beautiful thing, and it makes the PC so much cheaper. It's also a lot easier to use when you want to play online-based games, MUCH simpler.

I can guarentee you no ONLINE*** Game on a console can surpass itself on the PC.... The keybaord and Mouse will always be superior :o

superior in what way, it is superior ony based off of personal preference. and logging onto socom for ps2 is just as easy as logging into eve-online, cept it was faster for PS2 to go online cause you dont have to install game

I admit that the game is better to play on the comp but the graphics are better on the xbox.

I prefer consoles seeing as how, I don't have the time or money to upgrade my computer every couple of years just to play new games. I also, prefer playing Halo on the xbox because it just feels much better IMO. Basicly, if you have a lot of money, a nice screen, and don't like racing games, or japanese rpgs, then sure, stick with pc. The original poster didn't really make too many valid points, in my opinion, and just sounds like an xbox hater.

I dont know halo 2 is getting old for pc and xbox/xbox 360 you need to get gears of war and rainbow six both super awesome sweet guns like Counter strike on crack.
