Narutochaos Clan idea

hey i got an idea for narutochaos forums...y don't u make clans that people can join? like make a moderator or Sannin or someone a Clan Head and have people join whatever they want...you can have their clan name at the left under the person rank thing (gennin,chuunin,jounin,sannin place) i think it would be fun....and give people a sense of belonging...idk just a fun suggestion :)

It's a cute idea, but it seems unnecessary. Where I've seen this before, it was nearly useless... -shrug-

Not to mention the various amounts of work (I wouldn't know exactly how much it was) the admin would have to go through to implement things like this :P

I'd have to agree.. It's the same as the RPing idea, since these sorts of things are almost always existent on RPing forums...

Good idea, but we'll regretfully give it a miss, me thinks ^^

well, really, we would only have to create new ranks like we mods have done for ourselves

or why not just do what i did, and create a tag for your club or whatever....see? Chaos Metal Cult tag

its no big deal really, and it doesn't do anything special...just cool :D

i say, just let em do the tag thing like me...screw the names, ranks, and what not...just let the clans have a tag in there sig...no hassle for the mods or admins...just the sig makers :lol:

like our clan would be like under the location or under the username....i think it would be awesome and give people more of a sense of belonging and a clannish unity.....:) Zafar could be the "Hokage" and the other mods could be clan leaders and stuff....i think it would be awesome...just a thought...........i don't mean just a fanclub kinda thing....idk...its hard to explain.........:)

they suggested the sig as an alternative.... you could have clans with the same sig.... Bap's idea is probly the best chance you have... although I suddenly envision sigs with about ten different pics in them now >.>

As some other noted before, we tried out this concept A LONG time ago. We had different villages and people could join one. Its a fun idea but it would take alot of work, because of the way phpBB works. Ive seen some hacks that make it easier too but i don't know how well those work. I'll look into it and if i find a feasible solution ill add it to the forums :-)

ooooo i got an idea....do u kno in ur profile....u have a category thingie? how bout u make one that goes right under the rank or avatar and we can put like anything in there...like a word "avatar."? like make the category word avatar...and make it like

l------Word Avatar-----l one line or less write something to appear below ur avatar....

make it almost exactly like the location blank except make it word avatar.....

about the clans i think its call as people can chill n their area chat among the groups have clan names after the naruto such leaf,sound etc..and we can be apart of it and it make speople mor einetractive with eacother but if its a no then its not a problem but i just wanted to say thats itsa cool idea

great idea, but just like these guys said \/, the admin would hafto go through a lot of stuff to make those things happen, and believe me, html gives me a headack, atleast sometimes.
