i don't think these are authentic persay.. i think they would sell these like at chinatown or something, there region free dvds, and they go around ebay sometimes. i guess a good deal though?

That's what I heard on another forum anyway. They're not authentic, so it's no more legal than downloading.

I swear on my life, i friend got the english Hellsing, adn it was all good, and i fushigi yuugi, and I saw it at my other anime place, for double, and it was the same care, they're the real deal, i wouldn't try and cheat you

The subtitles might be bad but the guy who said it also said that contrastedly the quality is really good. Anyway, I'll download it all for free. :twisted:

Ooh, and it plays on all regions too. Granted, I'm not an expert on this, and I don't buy anime, but that's a good sign also that it's not authentic. Remember, just because it's on DVD and has a nice looking cover doesn't mean it's the authentic version. These might be, though, I don't really know for sure.

anything from hongkong or singapore i wont consider "the real deal" cause most of that stuff is pirated. it would be like someone charging you 15 dollars for the anime they downloaded and bruned on a DVD.

these arn't "authentic" versions. it's kind of like those knock-off toys they make. like if you look at the fuuri cuuri dvd there, it's a dub, but there's also a dub offially released in america, with individual cases. i think there like made from dvd-rs or the something the like since there region free. i guess the best way to call this product is 'unauthorized'.

i don't mean that these dvds won't work, i just mean that these arn't officially licensed versions.
