So how does high Soul Density actually HELP ichigo soul reaper(death god) mode..
I mean, all it did was give him a big sword?
I guess it could help with the spells.. but then why is Rukia, who is very strong with spells, got such a small sword?

um rukias incredibly weak with spells. She knows how to use them but the majority of spiritual energy was observed by ichigo when he became a shingami so she has no "energy" to put behind the spells.

Her sword was small = lower spirit density

Nice theory however, but it still doesn't explain how Rukia, with a smaller soul density, was top of her class and envied etc.

He had a bigger sword then rukia, and he envied her because she was very skilled with spells.

Death Gods are spirits, so do they even have muscle in the sense we do?

Maybe they can choose what they want to mould their energy into, like in HUnter x Hunter where kurapica (spelling?) made her energy (don't know correct term, sorry), into a chain.

I think those that have seen this anime or read the manga have tried searching for a wallpaper or a screenpic or something like i have, if you have read on, if you haven't then you might not want to read on. But on a wallpaper i found ichigo holds a different type of sword kind of like a one sided blade instead of a double edged blade like he has now. Sorry if this is a spoiler but i'm not sure since i have not read the manga, this could possibly be really good fan art?!

ahhh I can't really comment anymore without giving away huge spoilers. But yes the size of the sord is directly related to soul density, although i think they used a different term in the manga, or changed terms half way along anyway.

The word "Density" is the wrong word to use. The world is either "Power" or "Level".

It made him an extremly strong Soul Reaper. Gave him that big sword, and the ability to move better then normaly. He has great movment in normal like, but much stronger is it when he has in the Soul Realm.

And also, a Soul Reaper is not a spirit. It is, thought, a spirit avenger who has to be in the Spirit Realm to do his/her job.

It depends on who you dl from, I have seen density and Level and Power, and the only 2 that make sense are level and power. Density means a level of thicknes....so eh, I will consider what i say as truth.....

Density makes perfect sense in this interpretation, I believe. It would refer to the concentration of power in the Death God.

the Zangetsu (sp?) is a direct miror to a persons spirit density, ichigo ggot a bigger sword because his spritual density is larger, he is already stronger than ruika. He his just less poslished. When he raids soul society you find out more about it and his power. Be patient

the way i saw it, soul density has nothing to do with is power, i mean even with a bigger sword, he is still weaker than another shinigami.
Rukia said that she never say a shinigami with a sword that large. But ichigo is far from being the strongest.
Also all the hollows are atracted to him because of his soul density the same way they are atracted to shinigamis. the Tastyness level seems like this

so the way i see it, soul density his something that doesn't change, its like a signature, potential. different from power(altough it does have an impact on it). anyway i think it's stupid to say what i think when there is a manga with probably all the answers hanging over my head but i did anyway.

In the later chapters of the manga they reffer to a character with a much higher soul density than ichigo. But his sword is small. What joker said is high ichigo has a large soul power or level which directly dictates the size of the users soul reaper and the ammount of power they are able to use on deamon arts. Right now rukia's soul ppwer is very low as ichigo stole a large part of it when sdhe gave him her powers.

im not spoiling anything im just saying that soul density doesnt has no effect on the size of their sword. Its their soul power. If it says differently in any of the subs its a mistake just like calling shingamis (death gods) soul reapers.

Ok. RUKIA'S shinigami BEFORE she gave her strength to Ichigo was still MUCH smaller, and smaller then the only other soul reaper they met. This soul reaper was supposed to be much less.. talented.. then rukia. Yet he had a bigger shinigami.

To try and explain this im going to use naruto and charka as an example. (this won't fit for all things in bleach) but think of the soul power as charkra. Naruto may have alot more charkra then sasuke but due to sasukes skills he is a stronger fighter than naruto. Sakura on the other hand has even less chakra yet is more "talented" (in molding chakra and such) than naruto and in some cases even sasuke. So using this example ichigo is naruto he has a large ammount of energy (shown in his large soul reaper, sword) Sasuke is the other shingami and sakura is rukia.

I know that isn't the best example but i think it gets my point accross. Although ichigo's soul power is much greater it doesn't garunte he's going to be stronger if he lacks the ablity to use it properly.

Haha funny stuff you assume im a teenager then u prove my point by acting like an 8 year old. Seriously grow up no one thinks your funny. And have you noticed the only person complaining about the spoilers is someone who has already read the manga. (admittedly the soul society spoil shouldnt have been posted but I didn't do it)


And back on topic yeh its annoying that bleach isn't getting the coverage it deserves. I wish some good subbers would pick it up and start subbing things properly.

I'd have to agree with Raistlin, it felt like watching Sailor Moon or something. Every ep, some monster would come out to threaten the city, then Ichigo and his trusty sidekick would come out and deal with it. The real development started, I think anyway, when Ishida came onto the scene (although he'd actually been there the whole time, but he didnt get any action until ep 11 or whichever). From then on it was all go go go.
