I really hope those two get together (Ichigo & Rukia) they would make a really good couple...
Also I read in some forum... haha, usually in anime, the girl that sleeps in the room of the guy usually becomes the girl of that guy :wink: (DearS) haha they were discussing wich should be with Ichigo, Rukia or Inoue... I think Rukia since Inoue is way too dumb :)

You're missing the point.

Rukia realised that she was getting used to the human world and emotions and she didnt like that. She felt weird when she was asked if she and Ichi were dating. The whole story is leading to that point. Ichigo is going to soul society to bring her back not only because she may be executed. The sandals-hat guy knew what was going on. A little reminder of the conversation he had with Ichi in ep 17:

-In 10 days.. can I get stronger?
-Ofcourse.. if you desire from the bottom of your heard to save Kuchiki-san. The power of love is stronger than the steel.

As for Orihime ending up with Ichi, the characters of those two dont fit together. She probably cares about Ichi because she knows he's been through a lot (the death of his mother). Rukia from the other hand is more like Ichi (hell, they're both death gods), sharp, determined, cool. Orihime could end up with Chad.

Isn't it obvious? Rukia hasnt realised yet since she's too confused, Ichi's begun to realise after his conversation with the hut guy (why do I suck this bad when it comes to remembering japanese names?). You saw Ichi's expression after the "love is stronger than the steel" part didnt you? I dont think it's love what they're feeling right now for each other, but there sure is something there which is gonna grow in the next episodes. I may be wrong, but if you think about it, it makes sense.

I figured that there would be some development between Rukia and Ichigo, I mean this series has quite a few parallels with Samurai Deeper Kyo, the most significant one being the grudgingly respectful relationship between the Kyo and the main female character Yuya. There are some "romantic", using that word loosely, leanings between those two.

Rukia's and Ichigo's relatioship is similar just not as abusive, so I suspect the same thing will happen between the two of them

i doubt its love. if ichigo do somehow ends up with someone it will either be rukia or orihime..but the question is..who is the gurl thats gonna be jealous for the other gurl for being with kurosaki ich ?

I'd think it'd be more likely that Ichi would get together with Orihime or Tatsuki. Many episodes back, when they were discussing Ichigo's past with his mother, there was that one scene with those two talking on the bed. When Tatsuki was asked to describe what she remembered about Ichi, she got sort of bubbly and portrayed a sort of admiration. Orihime shows the kind of care and concern for Ichigo that might warrant a relationship in a number of episodes. The relationship between Ichi and Rukia is more something like commeradery, with an understanding between each other, but not too much beyond that. I strong sense of "you watch my back, I'll watch yours" mentality.



...Is what I'd like to say, but the anime is definitely hinting towards the typical girl gets kidnapped, guy saves girl, guy and girl start a relationship but is interrupted, sub-relationship starts with another character, final episode where they confess love to each other sort of thing. I'd really like to see Ichi get together with either Orihime or Tatsuki, but it's just not gonna happen with all of the foreshadowing and such.

she also got pissed when she had to come to terms that she might actually like Ichi, she said somethin like "This human world is making me soft, I dont belong here" Lma0 or something like that, besides i bet tatsuki likes him instead, i mean shes always talking about him... prrr.. 8)

we'll just have to see how rukia reacts to Ichi arriving at Soul Society, if she finds that "so hawt" =PP
