Bad InuYasha!!

InuYasha is a horrible anime.

Bad character's, no story line that works, horrible script.

Kagome: Ignorant little girl, who thinks everyone should listen to her, just cause she is a butt-sore skank. Very immature, always thinks she is god.

In small words, she is. An ignorant, megalomaniac fool.

InuYasha: Almost as bad as Kagome. Still ignorant, and foolish. He has a crush on a stupid little girl, sorry for him. He has the worst lines, and worst part in the anime. All he can do is swing a sword, or grow his nails to be nine inches long. That is all.

Miroku: Miroku is my hero, but still, a moron. Him and sango always agree with kagome, that tell's me right away how stupid they are. Kagome has no logic, just a tit to twist and a stick in her arse.

Shippo: This dumb little moronic bafoon, He tries to start fights with InuYasha, an d then gets mad at him for shuttimg him up. How hipicritical*sp?*. I hope shippo get's sat on.

Naraku: A horrible bad guy, all he does is run, and attack from the shadow's. All the while, he is saying how much stronger he is...PROVE IT YOU BABOONED FACE CRACK head:>

Sango: Almost as bad as kagome, just not as ignorant. She agree's with Kagomes lack fo knowledge as always. She can do no more then a mouse could with a 10ILB block of cheese.
all she does is get mad at InuYasha for mistreating poor little Kagome.

Mioga: Wow, dumbass...That's all I can say.

Sesshoumaru: The only good char in this mess, some people call an anime. He looks, kewl, sounds cool, and just plain, is cool. If he tried he could kill InuYasha, in a logical sense, but NOOOOOO! InuYasha can suddenly do new moves, or "go demon". FOGGUAH!

The plot is non-existent. It is just a bunch of bad char's being chases by even worse bad guys. They collect gem shards......WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! They gain 1, they lose two..this anime could last forever. Even more so by all the stupid girls IRL who love it.

Script, what script? it sounds more like ass-talk then anything else.

It is as bad as DBZ, I hit you, you go flying, mass of smoke, OMG YOUR STILL ALIVE! grin is removed with a exasperated, "ahh". Kagome and InuYasha get into fights to often.

But now im getting tired of this boring plotline...soo boring and too repetitive.

Dont you find shows when a guy and a girl say they hate each other but they really like each other. (i think thats stupid -.-)
and another thing i also want sesshoumaru to beat up inuyasha.Inuyasha is too powerful and thats why it makes the show boring to watch.

when inuyasha was around episode 40, i stil liked it, i thought "good, now they're gonna gain power, kill naraku, then a real bad guy will come up to try and destroy the world , they're gonna beat him and the series will end around ep100" HOW WRONG WAS I!!!!!!!! Now i'm at 93, Naraku is still alive, KyKyo too(i really hate her, give your soul back to kagome bitch that's where it belongs). and my friend who his downloading it for the both of us told me that at the end 167 they haven't killed Naraku yet! WTF!!! talk about a so-so series going nowhere. poor rumiko, Inuyasha was a mistake.... Why start something that won't finish?(and its not like 130 episodes is not enough to end a series)

Things being referred to as 'cult' has nothing to do with underground... it just means it has a very large fan-base, a good number of which worships it. For instance Monty Python and the Holy Grail is one of a number of movies that could be referred to as a cult classic. If you look in the right places you're bound to find a lot of people who could go through the entire movie quoting every single line from memory.

Anyway, I definately like Inuyasha. Sure, it's a bit long, but I've watched and enjoyed longer.

Inuyasha isnt done yet, theres going to be about 200 episodes I believe.

Of course, every long series has some degree of repetition and unoriginality, but in this regard, InuYasha is unrivalled. We weren't making an issue of the existence of repetition, it was the enormous amount of it that casts bad light on InuYasha, and places it 'above' the rest ;) :lol:

its because after youve seen the manga you know how lazy the artist was in drawing and the anime had just touched it up A LOT!!

and even though lots of anime are repitive, Inuyasha is already 250 something episodes and still continuing. Naruto is repetite but it still has 'subplots'. And theyre not things like fighting new demons and stuff for no certain reason(which means their fight plays no importance to the plot)

Actually, they ended it quite a while ago at episode 167.

Inuyasha is good but not great. The story isn't bad but drags on for way too long. Continuous love conflict between Inu/Kagome/Kikyo really frustrates me. And to add to that there are practically no new moves ever since the ultimate attack was intorduced way early in the series.

Yeah, Inuyasha does have an enormous fanbase (I think). If I was a fan, I would want a show to end at a descent amount of episodes instead of dragging the plot with subplots and repetition. Inuyasha had a lot of fillers.

There arent that many many deep, profound anime out there for inuyasha to be criticised this much. ANyway Inuyasha's fan base speaks for itself caz there are a shitload of us out there. I mean i'm not gonna say that there arent better anime like FMA i wouldnt say Naruto if we're talking about storylines, but it all depends on what your looking for in an anime. Ok, well to start, the plot isn't very good. It moves at an unbelieveably slow rate with the whole "kill some demon, stronger demon comes, naraku is involved somehow, naraku goes away, sesshomaru comes then goes, fight another demon, plot slightly develops, repeat."

The characters were alright, except alot of them didn't seem very different, or we didnt get enough depth of the character...except Shippo, he just plain sucks.

Of course theres a huge fanbase, we can all see that, but I'm wondering why. It cant compare to nearly any animes I have seen in plot, animation, or characters.

I wouldnt say it brought laughter, tears and anger, ( ...well, keep the anger) but instead it brought disappointment.

I think the reason this show has its fanbase is because its what a lot of people see before they really get into the good animes, so it is seen better then it actually is. Its pretty rare I see someone that knows alot about anime comment on "how great InuYasha is."

I absolutely adore Inuyasha, and for the most part agree with sessysgurl. A big thing is the setting. I love classic time settings and what not. So fuedel*sp?) Japan is great. I rather enjo ythe characters actually, and Inuyasha isn't a typical super nice and loving hero(not that I'm against that type. just some variety is nice).

As for naraku..Well i can see that point, but at least he has some things that keep him being around reasonable. But hey, to each their own.

I bug Naruto pretty much equal with InuYasha. It had equally slow development like InuYasha, WAY to many fillers, the main character only knows like 3 moves....he list goes on :p Providing the show (this goes for InuYasha as well) was like 50 episodes, (100 tops) it would be good. Thats the problem with these long, drawn out shows...they are just trying to rake in the cash by keeping it going as long as possible, and begin to ignore making the show as good as it can be. If you ask me, InuYasha had potential, but it was wasted.

I saw Inuyasha once...

It was a raw VHS copy of the movie, I think. I was in a small room, watching it on a small TV. A nine year-old japanese boy was trying to narate the story in english. He fast forward through what he called the boring bits. When it got to the end, at the final fight, the boy repeated what Inuyasha was saying word for word, as if he'd seen this movie many times. I had no clue what had happen in the movie, despite the great narration...

Even though I haven't seen much of Inuyasha, I can honestly say that I don't want to see more of Inuyasha after this experience or what I've heard about Inuyasha...

well,you can say there are always fans who love a show and fans who will dislike it- some of these fans who might dislike start to when the suspense, thrill, novelty, and whatever their minds were looking for suddenly stops(plot twists, thematic nuances, etc etc). though inuyasha is lacking in many categories i still love it- heck i love DB, DBZ, DBGT and watched every damn episode - - why not inuyasha.

i am eagerly waiting for the OVA's they promised to use to complete the series- because the ending was such a painful cliffhanger- i wonder when and how many OVA's would be produced

Umm...
If many animes have stupid characters, how does that make InuYasha's characters any *less* stupid? All it means is that a lot of animes--like IY--have dumb characters.

I'll say they are :P They're annoying, stereotypical, repetitive, always saying the same catch-phrases, always acting the same REALLY predictable way, always having similar bickerings... and I swear every other episode is a "I love him/I don't" episode from Kagome. I swear, I didn't even care if he/she love each other, I just wanted them to resolve it and stop boring me with the same old "yes/no" tease all the time :roll:

That's exactly how I feel. Couldnt have described it better myself. Until Naruto aired on YTV Inuyasha was basically my favorite show.

Btw I've read a lot of comments about how everyone still likes DBZ...It's really quite the opposite here in Canada. Everyone despises it.

I don't hate InuYasha. Why? Cuz it's the first anime I ever watched. But I'm not in love with it either. It's repetative and I'm getting bored with it. Any anime recommendations besides the ones that MDFreak gave?

Depends on your taste for anime (and ultimately wether or not you can use torrents :p).

For funny animes I'd say Great Teacher Onizuka, Love Hina, Galaxy Angel

For Fighting/actionish I'd go with Hunter x Hunter, One Piece (dont let the dubbed version fool you, this show rules when its in Japanese), Hellsing, Tenjou Tenge (Im not too fond of it, but lots of people are, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Outlaw Star

And, if you like InuYasha try out Ninja Scroll. This show is basically a 14 episode InuYasha, so it has plenty of fighting and such.

Yeah, DBZ was the shizz back in the day. Although it got repetitive, I still found some of the battles to be decent and action packed... not so much for Inuyasha though. I've watched a few episodes and they all kinda bored me (even during the fights).

InuYasha is a horrible anime.

Bad character's, no story line that works, horrible script.

Kagome: Ignorant little girl, who thinks everyone should listen to her, just cause she is a butt-sore skank. Very immature, always thinks she is god.

In small words, she is. An ignorant, megalomaniac fool.

InuYasha: Almost as bad as Kagome. Still ignorant, and foolish. He has a crush on a stupid little girl, sorry for him. He has the worst lines, and worst part in the anime. All he can do is swing a sword, or grow his nails to be nine inches long. That is all.

Miroku: Miroku is my hero, but still, a moron. Him and sango always agree with kagome, that tell's me right away how stupid they are. Kagome has no logic, just a tit to twist and a stick in her arse.

Shippo: This dumb little moronic bafoon, He tries to start fights with InuYasha, an d then gets mad at him for shuttimg him up. How hipicritical*sp?*. I hope shippo get's sat on.

Naraku: A horrible bad guy, all he does is run, and attack from the shadow's. All the while, he is saying how much stronger he is...PROVE IT YOU BABOONED FACE CRACK head:>

Sango: Almost as bad as kagome, just not as ignorant. She agree's with Kagomes lack fo knowledge as always. She can do no more then a mouse could with a 10ILB block of cheese.
all she does is get mad at InuYasha for mistreating poor little Kagome.

Mioga: Wow, dumbass...That's all I can say.

Sesshoumaru: The only good char in this mess, some people call an anime. He looks, kewl, sounds cool, and just plain, is cool. If he tried he could kill InuYasha, in a logical sense, but NOOOOOO! InuYasha can suddenly do new moves, or "go demon". FOGGUAH!

The plot is non-existent. It is just a bunch of bad char's being chases by even worse bad guys. They collect gem shards......WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! They gain 1, they lose two..this anime could last forever. Even more so by all the stupid girls IRL who love it.

Script, what script? it sounds more like ass-talk then anything else.

It is as bad as DBZ, I hit you, you go flying, mass of smoke, OMG YOUR STILL ALIVE! grin is removed with a exasperated, "ahh". Kagome and InuYasha get into fights to often.

The anime died because they put too many fillers in and they eventually canceled it. The Manga is still continuing iirc.
