What is your initiative?

What dirves you to do the things you do? WHy? if this were altered would it have any significant changes upon your being/ character?

Nothing really "drives" me, I live each day for that day. There are PEOPLE I live for: my brothers, especially the younger one, and other people I care about. If this was altered--or in my case, if they somehow died--I could live, I could still BE, but I would feel very empty. I guess that's the risk everyone takes when they care about someone.

indeed, i have siblings but i dont care for them, call me selfish if you will but that is just me. I live to be the best, Not for anyone else, i do not care for what others think i do it because it gives me a sense of satisfaction on the inside. The strive to be the best keeps me going to get there, if that were taken, i could fall back on my cut throat / break neck attitude to get me places. I will never settle for anything less than the best.

What drives me is gaining greater knowledge. I want to learn more and feel confident in what I've learned. But also I have a sense of pride of the things I am responsible for and that drives me also.

Love drives me ^__^ that may sound stupid, but its true. I can't imagin a life without love, nor do I want to. Love itself is enough for me.

All I really want in life is simply to be happy and make others happy too. I can not think of a better way to achive happiness then by love. simple as that. ^__^

What drives me are my dreams, I want to go to another countries, learn different languages and meet new people, so I'm studing differents languages and cultures and trying to learn from them. I live for my friends too, specially for my best friend who is like a sister to me.
I study hard every day, I take care of my little sister and I try to be kind to everybody in order to make my dreams true, if I don't do this I won't scape of this monotony and boooring life that I have.

What I want most in life is my happiness, and I get that from making people I care about happy. So I've already achieved my goal in life.

After all, even if you achieve the best, made the most money, bought the biggest house... after death, those things would be gone. Happiness: Making those you care about happy. So for me, even if I had all the material possessions in the world, even if I had the biggest brain out of everyone, it would all mean nothing to me if I didn't have anyone to care about. I suppose I'm the exact opposite of Gaara... in that I make people happy to reassure myself of my existence.

That's the cheesiest thing I've ever written/read, but 8)

I am driven to prove my self to everyone. I guess you could say I'm like Naruto were I want everyone to notice me and treat me as if I'm important. therefore I strive to be my best so that people will notice me. but this hasn't been achieved yet as far as I'm concerned. once it is you'll all notice a change in my attitude twoards alot of things.

nothign drives me. i am so lazy sometimes it makes me sick. the only reason i am still alive is cause i dont feel like dieing. making others happy has made me feel good. but i dont do it very often cause it takes effort.

i play videogames a lot, but that is cause it is something to do to pass the time.

Heh, I wish mine were simpler....its kind of a mix for me...

I'm driven by a love for people in general.... I dont think there is a single person I've known that I truly hate in the purest sense of the word... when it comes right down to it, I think I would gladly give my life in exchange for anyone else's, regardless of how much I knew them.....

But then on the other hand, this emotion also drives me to be vengeful towards people that hurt those that I feel have not done anything to deserve that which they have wrongfully received...but I never hate the person, merely their actions and their point of view...in that sense, I can forgive the person if the latter were to change...

This has driven me to become what I'm trying to do now...which is being a fireman... simply put, the opportunity to show my love for people by aiding them whenever they call for it.

it looks nice down on paper , but love is only an ideal that gets in the way, In this life being selfish isnt necessarily a bad thing becasue the only person you can rely to look atter you is YOU. People who rely on others to do anything will never get any higher in life and that is a fact. I'm not saying to be anti social , but do things on your own, look out for #1 before anything becasue taht is the best thing you can do for yourself. And about the self sacrificing for another i find that a waste of a life, look for another way around it and if its not possible then oh welll what can you do? I am not driven by emotion becasue emotion blur your vision since they are often one sided.

I am studying Japanese and Chinese in school and I am going to be an East Asian Studies major. I am going to study abroad in Japan. I wouldn't mind meeting a nice girl sometime. Actually, I would really love to find a girl sometime soon. A nice stable one. One that doesn't freak otu all the time. . . jeez. . . girls are a pain in the royal ass!!!!! but I still love them. . .

Yeah so, I do things for the future. I studying because I like it. Japanese and Chinese are awesome languages and I love the cultures. I love doing kung fu so I will keep up with that as well.

We all doing things to makes us happy, or to ease pain. Easing pain, thus making us happy. Ugh, no philosophy.

could you explain this more please? i don't get some of it, what about a person who is seriously wronged, and he tries to set it straight a little so it doesn't bother as much, and this seems like wrongdoing to you, what will you do?
