Hi, il be moving to san-fran in california soon, and i was wondering where i can find anime/manga clubs or places where i can buy/get many anime/manga?

you can find a lot of manga at bookstores like Barnes and Noble, and Borders. Anime is easy to get at Suncoast Video. These are major stores throughout the state of California so you shouldn't have trouble looking them up.

uh huh, there's also many places to buy anime/manga from the internet for good prices... If you ever want the sites you need only ask :lol:

and if youre in the mall theyll have it too but its dubbed :P
or a local bookstore(they have anime and manga there)

but thats mostly in anime stores
if you go to bookstores they only have dubbed and we know for sure that stuff isnt pirated :P
(it even says the company right on it "funamation etc..)

If things there are like they are here, I'd have to suggest Best Buy over Suncoast. The Suncoast here overcharges so much for their anime. I don't know if it's because they're in the mall or if all Suncoasts charge that much... I remember seeing one of the ADV things that's just the first DVD of a series and a box to hold the first 6 or so DVDs once you get them, and Suncoast was charging $60 for it. I went to Best Buy and picked it up for $25.

Ah I almost forgot but my daughter reminded me today. if your in SF there is also a Japantown area that you can get goods from Japan there. I believe it is really close to Chinatown, but here is some more info that might help you more then that bit of info:

dude if your moving to san francisco...I LIVE HERE! ask me! go to boreders at stones town or go to the barnes and nobles at fishermans warf. they usually have the best manga and stuff. well for the anime...you'll probably have to go to Japan Town...and just saying
