I made a topic about this and you all doubted me. I called it Sakura and Sasukes training. I predicted Sakura training under Tsunade and Sasuke training under Orochimaru. Lets look at the facts. Sasuke went to Orochimaru and Sakura just asked Tsunade to train her... I WAS RIGHT AND YOU WERE WRONG!!!!

You can get the translated version now at narutofan, i don't think it's translated by Inane but at least it is translated.

Also, many people had that theory of them being the new sannins. I mean in one of the chapters you can download from NarutoFan (not exactly sure which one but i reckon its in between volume 20-25), there is a special page where you see Naruto with the small frog summoning with him, sasuke with a small snake summoning wrapped around him, and a little slug summoning next to sakura, not to mention that this was quite a long time ago as well.

I think this chapter was pretty good, though it was a bit predictable, when shikamaru started to say about that medic stuff and she answered: you must be good at controlling chakra, I directly thought of sakura

Kabuto! afterall.... when they were together in the chuunin exam he was amazed at Naruto's ability... then when they actually fought..... it'd be kinda cool if Kabuto defected from Oro... or he asked Naruto to join up with them....

Itachi maybe? We all know it's not going to be Sasuke because he isn't a man, it won't be oro since he's too busyplaying with his new toy (sasuke), kabuto because he is taking care of oro for the moment. If it was a good guy like Jairiya or Kakashi me thinks it would be more formal like 'return of the perverted hermit or something'.

So i still reckon it's going to be either Itachi or the new akatsuki member (spelling not sure).

hahaha, i've always suspected that was the parallelism that Kishimoto was gunning for.. but yeah, Sasuke is not with Orochimaru yet, so i dunno if that's where the parallelism ends, that as a storyteller, nothing is pre-destined, but we make our own futures.

so the hope of that unwritten future is with Sasuke, that he chooses to triumph over that evil by not going to Oro.

i would think a story could be something like, they each get trained under their respective sanins, but when they actually reunite, they set things right, the way that the current Sannins haven't done so..

Ok now that we finally see what the manga covers have been telling us ages ago, how about this theory?

Sasuke = Orochimaru
Naruto = Jiraiya
Sakura = Tsunade
So what about Kakashi? Will he be the Hokage in future??

well, i think the parallelism may end when Sasuke decides to form his own path. i don't think its exceptionally boring, it kinda ties in with them being a leaf village, and as we know there are life cycles and such, so its quite nostalgic to have a Senin take on a protege..

but they will probably turn out different from their respective Senins. Also, i totally understand how Naruto is always kinda compared or related to Jiraiya, but alot of the manga characters acknowledge that Naruto reminds them of the fourth. so perhaps, Naruto learning under Jiraiya is ot to become like Jiraiya, but his parallel lies more in the fourth.

plus hinted in chap235, the battle between Naruto and Sasuke reminds quite a few about a sad battle that took place between two shinobis.

haha, yah, so i guess i just wanna say, that its not that cliched mebbe.. i miss the other characters as well, and wished there could be tonnes more character development, but frankly, i also wanna know more history behind the Senins, the third and forth, Kakashi, Kabuto and the likes..

Screw the main character and screw their teams story time. lol j/k But seriously, I want more Akatsuki. For me what drives an anime and makes it more exciting is the creation and exploration of its' villians. So many animes out there that have caught my eye and pulled me in have created their villians rather nicely. From a complex story-line to how they came to be, to just the way they act in the show can help spark my interest as a viewer or a reader, and make me come back for more. Haku, and Zabuza... ruled, Orochimaru... traditional evil bad guy (slight loss in interest for me), Sasuke... who didn't see that coming? :lol:(major loss in my interest), Akatsuki... shrouded in mystery with cool looking characters and complex villians, because Itachi's reasons are still unknown(my interest restored w/ avengence)lol.

yeah, i do agreee that Akatsuki should be developed more. -) we've already seen like two current members as well as one ex-member. yeah, the thing about good stories is that their villians are not one-dimensional, but in some actuality, alot of them are kinda anti-heroic, perfect example being Gaara. and yeah, its elements like these that keep things interesting.

i dunno if its anything to go by, but do you think that Sasuke's recollection of Itachi was sufficient, or are there more reasons unknown to us as to why Itachi murdered his entire clan, or his own purposes. from Sasuke's recollections, we kinda know that part of the reasons for Itachi's actions were to break free from the bonds that held him, from gaining that absolute power.

but Kishimoto's ongoing theme seems to be relationship, and i spose it's only a matter of time before these lonely but powerful shinobis are beaten not by more powerful adversaries, but rather, the emotional bonds that bind many together as one.
