(this is my speculation) I believe this game will have most of the characters the PS2 game has, minus the striker characters.

Also from the last few pictures I have gathered that Naruto will be able to unseal the Kyubbi Power, and Sasuke will be able to activate his sharingan.

I think that part has been known for a little while now. Characters will have 2 supers, one that can be accessed by pressing X, another that can be accessed by pressing down+X. The exception is Rock Lee, Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi. Rock Lee would do the same thing as in GNT2, Naruto would change to Kyuubi Naruto by pressing down+X, and Sasuke/Kakashi would change to their Sharingan counterparts. Thusly Naruto/Kyuubi Naruto, Sasuke/Sharingan Sasuke, and Kakashi/Sharingan Kakashi will each be combined into just Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi.

That info has only been availible since late september, plus not everyone may have known that they are making some changes to the battle system

There is.

Head over to www.gamefaqs.com ... Go to Gamecube -> N -> Naruto Gekitou Taisen 3 -> FAQS & Guides, and there you'll find Menu and Mission translations ^^;
There's also a Moves list, but I highly recommend against it, unless you don't mind finding out who all the Unlockable characters are.

I was really hoping to play as Kisame... oh well.

I love the fact that I got extra money for having save files from the first two games. It helped a little. Unlocking characters is my only complaint. The way it's set up it takes much longer than I would like it to.

I didn't know you could do that.. :o How? (I have saved files from the second game, could that count?)

Yeah, it does take a while... u_u But then, a few of the modes take longer to beat this time around (particularly Mission/Story, methinks). I guess they received complaints that the last game was too short..? lol
