Okay the professor here to talk about the writer corner.

Basically this is about any problems or suggestion that you all want to share. If you have writers block then give an idea and someone can help you. Killuahysoka helped me when I had writers block.

Listen to music while you write?

If you do, then what kind of music because for me it is really helpful?

Because I know I put in Apex Twin or the soundtrack to Silent Hill and I am gone.

So what about you guys? Have any writing problems.

And what do ya’ll do to get in the writing mood?

For me the best thing the usualy helps me when i have writers block when it comes to FAN FICTION is to watch the anime again. Just take a day, stop from wirting, and sit back and relax and rewatch some of your favorite episodes tor refresh urself about the qualities and characteristic of the anime and characters you love. During these times I usualy get new ideas, or a refrshed spirit to continue writing in a fresh new tone. Thats jsut one way. Anotehr way is if while you are writing, listen to the music from the anime. I find that , that usualy puts me in the mood and atmosphere of the anime, so the fan fic, like the show keeps the same feel. Thats jsut two ways I use to get rid of writiers block and/or get in the mood. Or you can do the third way and just go and masterbate haha, I find taht defiantley relaxes me haha 8)

Eh..i'm always listening to music when i write..and i have different bands i listen to for different fanfics...same goes for when im reading too...Its hard to get the right kinda music though cause even if your writing a comedy your mood can drop if your listening to something depressing...and you stop writing -.-

I'm always in the mood for writing and i don't really get writers block at all, the only problem i have is concentrating on a fanfic for more than an hour at a time, if i havent finished the chapter by then i'm screwed cause i've already got bored...this happens to me all the time so i have loads of unfinished fics on my puter...i have gotten over this problem occasionally, usually by writing at night with a large jug of coffee by my side..its easier when noones around to annoy you...

If I need inspiration, I'll find a really inspiring work of art and tell myself, "write a story about it" or "describe the scene".

it's a little tedious, but after a few of those, you get some good ones here and there.

Here's the one most people like, that I do often:
- Listen to a song.
WHILE the song is playing, force yourself to write everything that comes to mind. I mean EVERYTHING. It's almost like 'stream of conciousness' writing, except you might notice, it'll flow to the music.
Music has a strong effect... forcing yourself to write in tune with it is hard, but worthwhile. You really explore different reaches of your creativity if you switch music styles, too.

Yea, music is helpful...but describing emotions is something i do better than most other parts of writing a story... me writes romance kinda stuff... me finds these songs help;

also...when I'm writing a fight scene...poke fun all you like, but me listens to wrestling.... as they do have some rather good commentators who does a good job of describing the action and the emotion behind the match... although they can be as annoying as hell sometimes...

wow...you just got old school on my a$$. well i think that is good. but lately i been getting extreme writters block. I want to kill off one character but i dont know how.

can yall help

hmm well for me when I try and kill of a character, weather its going to be a romantic death, a romeo and juleit type death or if he's like a major ba guy sorta thing, than a horrible bloody death, I usualy try and either listen to music, or watch a movie or anime(anime more than anything else) that has a particular scene that jerks that emotion out of me. Like for romantic death scenes i find wolf rain or more so Ayashi no Ceres really helps put me in the right mood. For happy comedies,of course Full Metal panic is a fav haha saga-kun, so hot..yet so dumb haha. For angry scenes, like angry deaths hmm, I'm currently watched Televe Kingdoms, and theres a certain char in that anime i want dead so bad, so that helps put me in the mood. So tahts just some of the ways i do it. I'll talk to you more bout it on msn temji, aight I'm on a diff comp so I didn't log in but this is Killua. K talk to you latter bubi.

I like to feel motivated when I write, I can still sit down anytime and just type away, but at the same time I would rather feel motivated. I think that feeling is what really makes the story and gets the ideas to come through properly. I also like the house to be quite because I like to emerse myself into the story. I want what I write to feel as if you are right there and I think that if I can obtain that equilibrium then I can achieve that goal. So no I stay away from music when writing.


wow then you are the first one i know that doesnt listens to music when writting. I cant seem to do it. Just type in silence

Depending on what I am trying to write, I will select one of my playlists. I have them all elementally named as well, with a few weird lists. I even have an Oiroke no Jutsu list. ^___^

Biggest writing problem I have right now is that for some reason I can only write about something that's recently happened to me. I used to be able to write about anything I wanted to. It could be because I've read less fiction lately, who knows.

I listen to my whole list of music when I write, and I take out songs that disrupt my train of thought. Mostly music helps, but sometimes I need quiet, too.

yea same here i am really cosidering to get rid of my fics and let some body else to take charge of them. but me and a friend are writting a fic that is about our lives called Why. I dont know i mean ever since i started my move-which I am still doing, it had just completely stopped my writting.

The best thing I have ever done when writing is start late at night after the idea has been eating away at me all day, then turn off all the lights, then light a bunch of candles in the room that Im writing in. I dont generally listen to music because my mind would like to wonder away from the task at hand. So I sit in silence, delving into my thoughts.

Candle light helps that alot. I tend to work alone, because my friends, aka CRtwenty, are not willing to help bounce ideas back and forth. So yeah...

ehehehe chap6 is like a crapchap. its a chap you really dont wanna write.... its not working outfor me. however im 50% done through writing chap7 that one is so fun^^(writing is writing not typing mind you!)

Doesn't work for me. by the time I get the whole plot I forgot what i was gonna do for the opening...so i then start writing and guess what...its a whole different story then i first planned. So say Naruto was this super crazy killing machine now hes this super crazy sex machine...lol
