Defend your Console

I had this discussion in another board once before and I thought it was fun to talk about.
So here it goes..which is your favorite console and why?
Defend what you own, praise it, put it down..just don't start a flame war in here ;)
Also defend the games, graphics and such.

I left the handhelds out of this one!

PS2 & PS of course. Many games (and many good ones) come from the Japanese, who's AXIS for WWII :(

well, its kind of not fair to compare next gen systems with old classics so i'll break it down, my fav next gen is the ps2, my favorite prior to this has to be snes hands down. and to what you say, yes the japanese do make some great games, but lets not forget about a little company known as EA (which happens to be the largest gaming company now) which is homegrown in the us and makes pretty much nothing but awesome games. not to mention the fact that they also have a peice of square ;/

my favorite is NES...it was the system that tought me the masterful ways of video game playing when i was 3 yrs old. the first mario was on this system. besides that, i'd say the Gamecube...it as very nice graphics (just like xbox and ps2). it has more mario games! (can't beat mario) and its japanese and nice awesome japanese games are on GC...well, um thats all i can think of

Game cube it's the best of all!
I agree Ps2 has more games than GC but no one better than GC exclusive games, like zelda: the wind waker, metroid prime, tales of symphonia or mario sunshine!!
since ps2 has more games GC has more quality!
