Program change?? :(

I couldnt open this downloaded file so I decided to change it..but then it changed all the other manga files ....so I cant read anything.
Does anyone who uses Windows XP who where to find the program in the computer.
Does anyone know where to look?
If not,is there a program that I can download for free somewhere that can open zip files?

win zip and win rar both unzip fine, windows should have a built in unzipper too

for searching for them, right click any folder then go search and change the settings there


edit: o ya and what kind of file did they get turned into?

well i accidently turned it into windows fax viewer but then changed it to internet explorer.
Windows did have something that made it work but...I dont know where to find the programO_O
It seemed to have disappeared...
But to get winzip do you have to pay?

that's the evalutation version...technically you're supposed to pay after 30 days...
but as coldfire said..windows should be able to view them anyways....
if you use firefox...once you've d/led it, if you can't find the file go tools===>Downloads===>now choose "open" on your file

win rar works, but it sucks.
If only winzip lasted more then 30 days.

if u can get an older version of winzip its fine, it says 30 days but i had it for like 570 or something lol....it just popped up saying i should buy it :)
