I saw the episode with my brother today at 6 am. I must say at some parts at the end I almost cried. It was a really good end. But don't be dissapointed it concludes in the movie maybe Ed and Al will find each other again.
*Spoiler*(highlight to read)
Al gets up and revives Edward and Envy comes and tries to stop al but somehow appears in front of the gate. He then goes into the gate and you never see what happens to him. I am curious if he made it or not or gets to attack Hoenhiem. Edward then wakes up with his arms and legs in tact and is sad because Al is gone. He tells the woman with the baby to leave and all you see is him trying to revive Al. At the end you see Alphonse alive but in a 10 year old body. He forgot everything that happened after he tried to revive his mother. At the end he asks his sensei if he can learn alchemy because he wants to see his brother again and she said she couldn't deny that face and they got on a train and left to go find the answer(I must say Alphonse looks damn cool in his body) No one knew where Edward was until the very end he is on the other side of the gate with Hoenheim trying to find a way to see Al again. You find out that Al came back because the price that they paid was all of those years on a journey trying to gain what they lost. at they end they are both looking out of the window in separate worlds and each hold their hand out of the window and in unison say "we will meet again". Some other notes Roy kills the fuhrer with help from the fuhrers son. It turns out the fuhrers treasure was his human skull and his son tried to save it from the fire and when he gave his dad a hug his dad got so pissed at him that he strangled his son to death. Roy comes out and they make it seem like he got killed by Archer but the blond lady wit the dog killed archer. Roy only lost an eye and now wears an eyepatch. Also there seems to be romance between Roy and the blond lady. They are finally showing their feelings for each other. I am curious how big Envy's role in the movie because he got through the gate. I am also excited to see human Alphonse using alchemy and how good he is at it.

k i eventually found it in mirc and dled it. Not that i can speak japanese or anything bt shinsen were saying it had a 25% error ratio but i didnt really care. Still go and download it. its a great episode and has now put fma up to the top of my favourite anime list.

um a few things that seemed mixed up in the episode to me. Why does ed have his automail arm when hes on the other side at the end. He had his normal arm when he started bring al back. i was thinking that he could be envy but he admits he tried to sacrafice his own life to transmutate al back.

I AM SO ANGRY!! Ed and Al probably find each other in the movie but it comes out in like 6 months in Japan so we probably won't see it for another like 1-2 years.

Well, it was one of the best anime series I've ever seen. And believe me that are a lot. But well, I'm kinda disapointed that Edward is "gone". But noe e have the movie too look forward too :wink:

i saw the last 2 episodes today (50-51) and man, it was soooooooo good!

when i saw Mustang on the ground i was like

It's the principle of equivalent trade. We gained 51 episodes of a great anime and in return we must give up the happy ending we looked forward to :)

It is hard to understand the whole equivalant trade concept. I'm not entirely sure that they said there was no such thing as equivalant trade. I know Dante and Hohenheim said that, but Ed said that he wanted to believe in it I believe. He said that he wanted to believe that if he worked hard he would gain something.[/code][/quote]
