Now this is a tough one to cal...

Playing through x-2 some things seemed odd to me ... two VERY big things. 1) Shinra's comment on the planets energy, and 2) shinra's name.... Anybody esle find this ODD????? maybe just maybe this could lead to something as in maybe SPria actually being the past form of VII's world before shinra??? i understand that this is kind of way out thought, but isnt possible? ? I mean the idea is very simillar...too simillar

actually i think i saw shinra mentioned in X several times as well. i cant play X-2 much cause it is sooooo damn lame. i play saoul caliber 2 and crystal chronicles

i endured the lame.... just to get to this, but i mean the similarities are there... dont you think its at least semi possible? Oh and another thing i forgot to mention, THey also mentioned a thing about a city which never slept, a city with lights on all the time... H... sounds kind of like midgar to me...

absolutely. they are final fantasy. and they always have similarities from one game to the next. and i like the idea of spria being a past world before shinra. i think that would work well together.

ya, i think so as well. IT would make MAJOR sense if they do it that way with the new spira pushing for change. Can anyone say possible continuation (one that isnt lam elike x-2 though)

yes it is. i personally like the 7 way of magic, and 8 way of equiping magic. if we could get a combo of those....HOLY SHIT...

hm that is true, 8's magic system kicked ass because it allowed for total customization, but it blowed if you were a dumbass and didnt know what the hell you were doing. vii had a better system with magic , having to draw magic sucked ass inmo. hm but in that case ... wow this can go on for a while... i mean there is a lot to fill between x-2 and VII... i mean it would be weird considering that VII although an earlier number comes after X... hm letse see maybe they can show as it slowly industrializes.. the conflict could be.. maybe people opposed it? hm im not quite sure its quite open

NOT TO mention they both have a close to tie to life and death....

thats the wierdest thing. I am currently playing X so I don't know much a bout X- 2 once I get there I think I'm in for alot of things I can out together from VII. but until then my info is irrelavant.

I think that the only reason that the boy's name is Shinra it's because its a final fantasy game, probably its something like Cid that appears in all FF games.
Every FF game (except X and X-2)have differents plots with no relation betwen them.

it is all a plot by square they are trying something new. that boy whose name is shinra is gonna create the shinra corp. he will be a hero in the story. making the corp the the good of the people.

I totally agree, Shinra must be like the founder of Shinra...i mean the first time i was playing, im like Spira is most obviously a FFVII ancient world, I mean take a guide and compare the map, they look so simalar!!

well, technically there's a relation between VII and VIII, if you go into Zell's bedroom i think in the 3rd disc you find that one out. But the storys have nothing to do with each other
