Naruto dubs?

yeah I dont want to ever see it get dubbed, that would just suck, first of all because I highly doubt they'll get as good of voices as they already have for the series....and second cuz I would hate to have to wait for the epsiodes to be released here for them to be legal. We'd be waiting a LONG frickin time before they ever caught up to us :x

I say they leave Naruto alone and just use the same voices. if not that then just leave it in japanese and subtitle it. there should never be any dubbs and never should they change it either. because we all know that they will change names if they redo it with dubbs.

Bandai already has the rights to the products and I believe the show. It would be safe to say that Bandai might have a go at dubbing it.

Brian I have never seen a dub by 4kids and of what I read about them am I fortunate enough not to have done so :lol:

I really couldn't say, since I never really looked into who dubbed what.
I could just confirm which dub was horrible and which was pretty good without knowing who's behind them ;)

I say if anybody takes the rights to naruto that it should be bandai or funimation. every show that I've seen dubbed by them has been extremely close to the original way that it was made. so as long as they don't screw with the animation I would like one of those companies to take over the naruto project for the viewing of it in the U.S.

have you seen dragon ballz? that was dubbed and edited by funimation, and that isnt even close to what they were saying. it ruined characters like vegeta.

they ruined EVERYONE, nobody was ANYWHERE close to their actual characters, it was more like the happy pals that funimation put together.

man i remember hearing vegeta talk to gohan in the Buu saga. after gohan let doubler live and because he did, kurillianand piccolo remained as stone. In this scene vegeta wasnt just yelling at him he was cussing him out, every other word was a curse word.

Heh, yeah the dbz and yu yu dubs are absolutely horrible...Hakusho is the most obvious though...i mean cmon...its a show about the demon police..... why in gods name would it be that pleasant??!?!?

first off, damn do they cut a LOT, hm the voice actors suck balls compared to the japanese counter parts, and what else ehat else... maybe the show is just getting elongated as bad ad dbz... its terrible man and i really liked the sub version of this one.

It will probably be dubbed being that it is so popular and I just hope they have very good subs maybe 2 types of font because I often see dubbed anime as... not good at all and where did this story come from, this never happened... if for possibly a good dub just let the company that released the animation choose

yeah I just think toonami screws up the anime's by not showing the beginings. if they do show naruto then let in be on a different channel like the WB. at least they show thw begining videos.

lol, well it looks like they will, if you've been checking the other one like this, if 4kids does have it, expect it on fox or wb, maybe cartoon network after like 3 months....but if so on cartoon network, hopefuly it will be on the saturday thing, and not toonami, saturday thing is the only decent block of programing, other than adult swim

sorry to say this man but naruto will EVENTUALLY get dubbed. Sooner if not later. The question is that if you want some dubbing company (like 4kids) that will tear the anime apart or some company that will keep all the anime the way it is.

my god.... I've been watching this show for what getting close to a year now, I would really hate to try to watch this from the beginning again dubbed... but if I had my way Bandai would dub it and do as good a job as was done with Cowboy Bebop.

i agree with the dub being done by either Bandai (Cowboy Bebop) or ADV (Rahxephon). But for all the people who don't want it to be dubbed sorry guys someone is eventually going to dub it and there is no way to get around that. So in the end who would you rather get it dubbed by Bandai or Funimation. ADV/Pioneer or 4Kids.
