Lee or Sasuke?

Now I'm quite unsure who would win? I mean, Sasuke has the Sharingan, he got the superspeed, plus that he can use Ninja tecniques... But then, Lee has the gates.. And Lee has better stamina I think

I think it would be a long battle, but when its over I think Sasuke would be the one

Ok, yeah, defenitely Sasuke, mainly I'd say that because he alredy copied Lee's "Konoha Blossom" move and nearly all of his hand to hand combat styles, sooo i think that coupled with his other ninjutsus ( not to mention the chidori) I think puts sasuke over the top.

While Sasuke will easily beat Lee now, Lee will open all 8 gates eventually
and I read from the 1st of the 4 sounds of Orochimaru that the seal makes you 10x stronger so Sasuke 10x and I remember Lee can become as strong as Hokage supposedly so Sasuke can beat Lee if he can beat the dead Hokage 4th and Itachie can easily beat almost anyone(not sure because they have 8+ S-class missing-nins in their group and each one is supposed be he Kage lvl, S-class enemies are supposed to only be beaten by one of the kages. Right now Sasuke will probably beat Lee, but later who knows its likely Sasuke will be strong and I doubt if he will ever kill Itachi even if its possible.

well i just saw the sasuke vs. orochimaru fight, and it looked like orochimaru did actualy use some highlevel speed and sasuke put up a pretty good fight before his training, so with his sharingan i think lee would be kicked to a pulp with or without his gates, so eventhough I like lee more than sasuke i do have to answer the poll correctly and honest so i think sasuke would beat LEE

All of you seem to be overlooking the fact that Sasuke can not maintain that high level of speed. Lee in the anime says that it took him years to obtain that speed but Sasuke obtained it in only a month. But the next thing he says it..."But it looks like you consume a lot of stamina to maintain that speed." Sasuke is only as fast as lee without his weights. Even if Sasuke used his sharingan and his curse seal...he would not be able to keep up with lee when he opened his gates. Sasuke may be able to predict Lee's movement's but in the end i think Lee would win out. For those that read the manga... our adorable Rock Lee will return and we will see him fight again.

Desecration you have it all wrong. The level 2 seal gives the user 10x normal strength. Also, it does have drawbacks...it takes a lot of chakra to maintain. The proof is in chapter 190. Combine that with the fact that Sasuke would have to use a lot of chakra to maintain his speed and he wont last long. Lee would win in any extended fight. 8)

damn some of you guys seem to add your own imagination to the anime....Sasuke would win...he is one of the main characters plus e has far more jutsu a high level speed...plus Rock lee has no genjutsu ...hand to hand is not all by any means.....damn this is just an anime...whats with the bias towards favorite characters....and you only get hokage level for opening the death gate...which means you would die over it....he didn't have that level against Gaara...cause Hokage power level would have smashed through the gourd and kill him...

yep. lee ROCKS. sasuke may be faster than before and he knows chidori but sasuke doesnt have staminna to fight.

if sasuke uses seal lee doesnt have chance, even after openning 5 gates. i believe that sasuke was stronger than naruto fighting neji then. :)

yea i would go for lee with his gates open cause sasuke is only an amature with his sharingan could not keep up and he has no sand to protect him from the lotus

yea i think that any other genin wouldve died had they been hit by primary or secondary lotus buyt gaara was lucky that lee stopped when he was doing the primary lotus and he had his gourd turn into sand for the secondary lotus. if lee uses any of those 2 lotuses on sasuke sasuke would be finished

Ya Lee is super fast and could probably dodge chidori. Lee has the lotus and he can open gates and Sasuke has chidori and sharingan. Back when sasuke and Naruto were fighting Haku it took Sasuke a while to be able to track Haku's movements. By the time Sasuke could track Lee's movements he would be dead.

well it took sasuke some time to track hakus movements because he didnt have the sharingan. as soon as he got the sharingan he could see al the movements and started blocking al the needles so he would be able to see lees speed especially if he saw it before the chuunin exam and he got a whole load stronger after it so he can definitely see lees movements and can probably react to them since he is almost at lees speed.
but i still think lee could win because he is still faster and he will keep improving his taijutsu (if tsunade heals him) and be able to beat sasuke. i dont think chidori will get lee since itachi brushed it away so easily then lee can probably dodge it or maybe brush it away aswell

If you look at the stats, aside from what the anime would do, Rock Lee would win. When he does Secondary Lotus, he disappears pretty much. I don't think sharingan can keep up with that. I don't think anybody would survive that attack. And even if lee had to use 5 gates, sasuke couldn't catch him even if he wanted to do chidori.

I honestly think lee has more strength that sasuke because of his speed. When you double the speed of a hit, it quadruples the impact. Sasuke wasn't able to see lee's speed before, what makes you think he can see them now? Sasuke copied all of lee's taijutsu, but only what hes seen. So if lee comes up with newer taijutsu, sasuke will be at a disadvantage.

How do you know if Sasuke can learn Tsukuyomi? Even if he can at a later point, who knows how long it will take him? Sasuke doesn't stand a chance, if Lee opens his gates.

Yeah, as of now. I'm just saying that I think he has a higher potential because he can do ninjutsu, unlike Lee. Thats one of the main things you need to know in battle. While Lee can beat other Gennins with hand to hand, idk if he can go much further with higher ranked people.

Well we have a very good example of how good a ninja can get without much Ninjutsu...Gai. Gai is equal to Kakashi and imo can whoop Kakashi's ass in a "life or death" match if they ever fight this way.

well if sasuke does learn magnekyou sharingan he can beat lee... but this thread is about now... and lee can also concentrate on the feet or his opponent like gai does because lee is the same as gai

i think lee has still the advantage. sasuke could not predict taijutsu. even if he is as fast as lee all he could do is to block or evade it as it comes. lee has brains too so he'll think of some cool moves of taijutsu. stamina wise sasuke will be at disadvantage. to be as fast as lee, he must consume a lot of stamina to maintain it. but lee it that speed is only natural him. a result of weight training.
