Naruto and Sasuke stronger than Kakashi

Is it just me, or have I heard way too many people talk about, how Sasuke and Naruto are now so powerful, they'll be stronger than Kakashi. Personially..I dont think so, and it can be answered by one simple question that everyone can agree on

They're not that strong yet, and if I remeber correctly, ALL THE MAIN JOUNIN COULD. I mean sure they can take on the 5 man purple army, but they're just not at that level yet

Has sasuke and naruto gotten a lot stronger? yes they have, are they strong enough to take on kakashi? probably not. A few things depends though, sasuke won't be able to fight kakashi if he doesn't have his curse seal 2 thinggy, and same goes with naruto and the ninetails. If they fought him at their normal strength (ie: no ninetails/cs2) then kakashi would own them. If they used their hidden powers, then maybe they could have an actual chance but as we all know, we haven't seen much of kakashi fighting and don't know much about his 1000 jutsu's he knows of. So i voted "almost there but not quite yet"

The big question is how you measure power. If you ask me whether they will be able to beat kakashi, my answer is no. But if the question is just about power/Chakra, then the answer is a little different.

In their normal states, (no Kyuubi and no CS) neither has the chakra capacity to rival kakashi, when they are "powered up" (for lack of a better term), I think that at least Naruto is stronger. Already in the fight vs Haku when Naruto went Kyuubi, Zabuza commented that the Chakra (Refering to Naruto) was too strong to be Kakashi's. And Naruto have unleashed a lot more power here now, than he did there.

But Naruto can't use that power cause he can't hit Kakashi. Whether Sasuke is "Stronger" is anyone's guess. He doesn't have nearly as much Chakra as naruto, but he is a lot faster.

For those of you who watched DBZ, it is very similar to the fight of Trunks vs Perfect Cell. Where even though Trunks was a lot more powerfull, he couldn't use it because he couldn't catch cell.

Back with Naruto, apart from his speed which is less than kakashi, he doesn't know enough techniques to make use of his greater chakra power.

I feel that if in some bizzare situation they worked together against kakashi, at the power level they are now then they could stand a chance. But seperatley it wouldn't do much good. I agree with FALLEN who said the sound four were able to take down two tired jounins that had just returned from their mission, but remeber Kakashi has just returned from his mission as well, plus he had been weakend (as Iruka stated) and injured (as Tsunade had stated) from his fight with Itachi, so he could find himself in danger if unprepared.[/b]

they only beat the two tired jounins because they said they were returning from a mission, they were tired, low on charka and they got ambushed. They clearly state that, it would of been a different story if they were 100%

think about that: he's equal to gai who do have a "power up"(opening the gates) he wouldn't have matched him if he didn't, yeah, I know, they don't actually "fight" every match but they sure did at least once or twice, they matched a hundred time !!!
so they may need some more control and power to kick kakashi's ass, and anyway it won't happen till a long time, that would suck, I mean he's supposed to be one of the strongest jounin wich already he's the elite group of ninjas.

i'm very surprised that no one has voted for the last option. there's no way naruto and sasuke will be able to beat kakashi normally, but at their current levels of power? i actually think kakashi will be entirely owned.

against naruto, the nine-tails chakra will heal even a chidori, and protect naruto from all sorts of attack jutsus. its likely that before naruto's body wears out, kakashi will run out of chakra to maintain the sharingan/perform his various jutsus.

against sasuke cs1, they both have sharingans, and might actually now match each other in hand-to-hand. with curse seal 2 activated, sasuke has those wings of his to defend with, and will probably be faster/stronger than kakashi. the chakra emitted from his cs2 form is also very formidable.

i don't really agree with that, kakashi was half their age when he graduated and he was taught under the 4th hokage whos supposed to be the strongest of the 5 hokages. We've seen naruto and sasuke fight at their strongest and we know their talent all too well, we haven't really seen anything from kakashi so its really too early to debate that. Their both gennins but probably chunnin ranks, i still have my doubts they could take on an elite jounnin, it just doesn't add up.

it actually very likely for naruto to take him on because I mean the demon fox is almost unleash on naruto and the 4th (the most powerul in konoha beside itachi/first/second hokage) even had to sacrifice himself to lock the fox so I would said kakashi would lose to naruto or kakashi takes out naruto and himself. Also some people said kakashi had speed but so does naruto in the manga it show his speed not even the sharingan before the cs2 can see.

Are you referring to his fight with zabuza? we've seen what..a FRACTION of his capaibilities. he knows over 1000 jutsus. you don't think he has a summon or two that can go against them. Sure naruto's summon is probably one of the most powerful out there but you're selling kakashi short. you're forgetting that he's a legend in himself he's the youngest graduating person (even younger than itachi) to have graduated from the acadamy. he's the youngest that became an ANBU member...and hell he's the only non-Uchiha with a sharingan. he is a genius in the purest sense. i can understand where you're comming from thinking naruto/sasuke (as of now) is crazy strong, but kakashi is the elite..the ELITE... He's a jounnin, out of 100 jutsus he knows, i doubt most of them are "low level techniques" and he ran out of charka against zabuza because he was using his SHARINGAN duirng the whole fight, which we all know drains his charka rather quickly.

You don't know that, naruto has a summoning and he isn't a sannin. Kakashi already has dogs he can summon so theres a chance he would have more summons in that field.

By saying how kakashi is a genius helps prove my point, and its about kakashi so i guess that IS staying on topic... And naruto isn't at "full kyuubi" power, his body is too small to handle at full power, thats been said also. When he is at full power then yah, nobody wouldn't be able to touch him, but to say a hokage is the only one who can defeat them is pretty unreasonable, especially since he's only a gennin who knows a summon and a couple of jutsus, doesn't make a lot of sense. You say that as if they have unlimited healing? thats not the case, if so, naruto would still be standing in the latest chapter, the more power they get from the ninetails/cs2 puts a lot of strain on their bodies, kakashi being the smart ninja he is, will know about it. he's smart enough to use that as his advantage.

Me too but their not as powerful as a hokage or to have a hokage to defeat them. That doesn't make sense at all, i mean do you want this series to go towards dbz? I think kakashi can still beat them, they will surpass him (of course) but not now, kakashi has way more experience, way more techniques, and knows how to deal with battle situations quite well.

when they graduated only accounts for talent, it doesnt account for hard work or power gotten from other circumstances (eg. rock lee's working hard/sasuke's cursed seal)
well naruto may be unable to beat kakashi, but the kyubi sure could

as i recall no1 else other then the forth hokage could do anyting against the kyubi, so if naruto can tap 100% of kyubi's powers i'd say good eff'in game to kakashi.

as for sasuke...well, at curse level two he is unharmed by naruto's kyubi-powered rasengan, so i guess he'd at least match evenly against kakashi.

The power that he can handle now is pretty powerful but not enough to defeat kakashi, you guys are getting drawned in by that big explosion they made. they lack a lot of year of training a Jounin would be beat them. But power isn't everything, see Sasuke for example, he doesn't have that amount of power but he can
still beat the shit out of Naruto in Kyuubi form without any cursed seal and take a beating from Kyuubi, and he is still standing. Although, he had to used the cursed seal level two to return the favor. After all, Kakashi has the same legendary recognition as the Sannin, and better yet, The Sannin and Itachi aknowledge his power. I mean, who can surpass that.

concerning, the episode of the roof, well, they were at this time like a hundred time lower than they were during their big fight ( maybe a hundred is too much, but what I mean is that they were waaaaaaaaay slower)

If it was just a question of raw power, Sasuke and Naruto could easily take Kakashi, but Kakashi is the superior strategist so I think he would win against them. I think we will eventually see both of them become stronger than Kakashi, though.

I think right now, Naruto and Sasuke still can't defeat Kakashi. After all, Kakashi is a jounin, a genius, and has way more experience in battle than both of them. We haven't even seen Kakashi's full power yet.

Of course, Naruto and Sasuke will eventually become stronger than kakashi, but not for a long time. It's not like Kakashi will just rest while the others are training for three years. He'll probably train too, since powerful ninjas like Oro and the Akatsuki are popping out everywhere. Also, remeber that Kakashi is just 26 yrs old iirc while Tsunade and Jiraiya are probably in their 50's. Kakashi still has a lot of time to improve.

he dint say that naruto had better chakra capability. he said he had more chakra potential. although at the moment naruto must have a huge amount of chakra reserve due to kyuubi and his last fight. Sasuke & Naruto could never be able to defeat Kakashi at their current level of power with or without the CS2 or Kyuubi. First, if you realize Kakashi mentioned its been a while since he's taken on a real mission that would involve life or death combat so when he took on Zabuza he was still rusty plus Zabuza wasn't really weak he was also a Jounin, second if it was the 4th who sealed away Kyuubi and Kakashi was one of his direct students dont you think that he would have picked up unique jutsu's right then and there.

I'll admit Sasuke & Naruto has improved and especially with the constant upgrades, but their still just talented children while Kakashi who is a genius who developed his skills during warring times. So im pretty sure the combat experience would stand out. And isn't Kakashi a Sp. Jounin?

i don't realy know about sasuke but in naruto's case i'd say he'd probably be able to compete with Kakashi but not win. the reason i think this is because of naruto's fight with kabuto which sort of ended up as a draw and how kabuto's skill was compared earlier on as about at best at kakashi's level by orishimaru. So probably close but no cigar.

Okay, first off, I'm completly sure of this now, unlike things I'v said before...Kakashi didn't get Obito's eye in a normal state did he? No. He got it as Sherangan, and thus instead of having to summon it to his eye, the chakra instead simply sapps energy from him when staring at anything, hence why he covers it. Kakashi hasn't the ability to turn it off, thats why he had it right away in the latest chapter. Now. No, Naruto and Sasuke couldn't take them, no way. Naruto can't use the red Chakra very well yet, and Sasuke can't do crap without that CS2. Their two kids for crying out loud, and if they can't beat one another with those Jutsu's then how could they beat somone who knows all about them, and Kakashi created Chidori, wich means he probebly has some kind of counter. When they fought on the roof top of the hospital, Kakashi stopped them dead in their tracks, he could do it again no doubt but imagine him in an agressive stance? Yeah...They couldn't take him. It'd be a cool fight, but Kakashi would most likely win. Aside from the fact that he is stronger, smarter, knows more techniques etc, it took Naruto and Sasuke alot to bring out that power. If they were just fighting against some random guy I doubt they could bring out that much power, it only happened because they were against eachother and all the psychological things. If Sasuke could dodge Narutos moves, then Kakashi most likely could do the same to both of them. And theres no saying in how well they would work as a team.

well....kakashi graduated academy when he was 11 i think...or became chuunin when he was 11....i heard that from somewhere...sasuke and naruto graduated when they were 12 or 13 and they didn't pass the chuunin exam...only Shikamaru did .....
