Some are making a list, so I guess I'll do the same... :)

- Kakashi - he just owns. If you don't think he does, I can't explain it to you. He just does XD Sexy and mysterious and wise and strong and... yeah.. ^^;

- Iruka - my favorite!! (but he's not the most memorable, which is why I always put Kakashi first). He just seems very 'real' to me.. there's nothing fake or ingeniune about him, I think. Reliable, trustworthy and loyal... even if he is a tad weak compared to the others. I don't hold his weakness against him, because he reminds me of myself...
(I know, I know, fangirl :P)

- Kiba - Among the kids, he's my favorite. He's got a lot of personality, but still is very likable. He's also a very 'real' character to me... and the way his mind works, I can relate to him. He seems familiar to me, for some reason. So I know that if I met him in real life, we'd become friends ;) And besides, his moves are cool... and he's definately got an interesting quality to him, with his animal-like qualities.


PS: I gotta give honorary mention to Gaara, Kurenai (whoo, girl power), Rock Lee and Gai... they're not my *favorites* per say, but they certainly rock the house :D

Mine would have to be a tie between Gaara or Lee. I like Gaara over the fact that he only wanted friends and love to free him from his sorrow and that the world made him the monster he became. I too can relate to this and I have an idea of how it feels, but to have your family just try and kill you is just crazy. Then there is Lee - the dude is amazing. His fight with Gaara is one of the best anime fights I have ever seen since SSJ2 Gohan defeated Cell in DBZ with a one arm kamehameha blast (Then again, I dont watch that much anime). The kid is simply inspirational and something to look up to (Even though he is a cartoon character).

I think my vote would have to go with Lee though. I mean Gara is strong but all he has is that "ulimate defense" and the desert funeral, plus he has a f*cked up philosophy, "I kill so I can confirm my existence"... wtf?. Awhile Lee represents hard work and dedication and believe that anything is possible. So yeah, I vote for Lee and I would imagine that quite a few others will too.

3rd place would be Shikamaru because he is so much like me. I got 5 straight F's in my 10th grade year but all me teachers tell me that I am one of the smartest in the class. Schoolwork is indead troublesome. :?

Out of all the characters, I will have to say that I dislike Sasuke the most - All he does is copy what other people worked hard for and if that isn't cheap then I dont know what is.

I like Uchiha Sasuke because he is versatille and serious. And because I would be the same thing as him if my family would have been killed that way. Still, even when his an avenger, he always protect his comrades and care for them. The sharingan ability to copy learn jutsus is something very cool to me.
I also like Hinata a lot, because I identify with her shyness, and I like that she is very gentle and caring. I also think byakugan is pretty awesome.
Neji is also a very nice character... a bit troubled until now... but he is a philosophical guy and that's like me. I like to analyze people, and to think about destiny, etc.

Kakashi can't see the future...Sharingan's hypnotic ablilities allows Kakashi to suggest what Zabuza should do next and thus making it look like Kakashi is copying. That was the explanation given by Zabuza when they fought for the second time. Sharingan does have some insight in seeing through a ninjutsu though.

My favorite character is..... let's see...(this is difficult)
I like Uchiha Sasuke because he is versatille and serious. And because I would be the same thing as him if my family would have been killed that way. Still, even when his an avenger, he always protect his comrades and care for them. The sharingan ability to copy learn jutsus is something very cool to me.
I also like Hinata a lot, because I identify with her shyness, and I like that she is very gentle and caring. I also think byakugan is pretty awesome.
Neji is also a very nice character... a bit troubled until now... but he is a philosophical guy and that's like me. I like to analyze people, and to think about destiny, etc.
yeah though i picked neji i like them equally as much...sasuke is a great guy leaving out his blind spotsfor itachi...

Rock lee and Gaara...Gaara has a good story (and the whole sand thing is pretty original)and all of rock lees fights are good and at least different. He's not in it a lot but I really like Gai also. He's fruity poses are priceless and he never lets lee give up!1

I have about 4 favorite characters whom I like for different reasons:

Naruto - he is funny, yet very determined to succeed. I want to have his kind of determination.

Sasuke - I like his moody demeanor. Plus I think he has cool hair.

Kakashi - I thought,'wow! this guy is bad ass!!!' when I first saw him bust out his sharingan against Zabuza. I was very impressed.

Itachi - If I thought,'wow' when I saw Kakashi's sharingan, I was blown away when Itachi busted out the M Sharingan. He is so badass and he has such attitude! He is probably my fave if I HAD to choose only one.

Orochimaru is my favorite character. Everybody always goes for the good guys, or the "cool" guys. Being cool don't mean shit. Being evil and playing dirty is the way to win. And Oro knows this. I also like his attacks/moves. I mean, he can raise people from the dead! And he can steal bodies!

1. Sasuke: His sharingan is cool, and he doesn't act like an idiot. But mostly I think his whole story with Itachi is really neat.

2. Lee: His taijutsu is obvioiusly amazing, but mainly I like his determination. His idea about hard work doing anything is great, mainly because he actually follows through on it.

3. Shikamaru: Super genius, and his shadow techniques are okay. Also, even if he's lazy about things, when it comes down to it he's reliable.

Fav character is easily shikamaru. He just dominates people with his mind... I was a little angry when he didn't win in the forest, but I guess he just didn't have the power, plus it wouldve been pretty lame if kank and gaara showed up and saved the day and then temari got there and shika had won. He just out thinks everyone and because of that I think he has a good shot at beating anyone. Like kidamaru(eww spelling) picked apart Neji's style then attacked the weaknesses, shika can do that on a completely different level, and anticipate the thoughts of his opponent. Plus hes one of the only chars on the show that have a truly 'normal' persona.

Second is Kiba. Hes naruto without the "I never give up" speech.
