About a year ago i probably would have said DBZ, but recently I mainly like Naruto and Trigun. Naruto alot more than Trigun. My least favorite but i still watch from time to time is .hack only since i enjoy the video games lol.

hackSign... That is just so weird from time to time. Only watched the first ten episodes and it keeps being weird. Just like Evangelion, always gettin more depressing with everyone suffering and losing , and then the end is so fugin weird with some "choose reality" thingie. Unfortunately if i could i would pick dbz. Naruto is my second favorite anime of all time but dbz..has advantages over it. Turning super saiyan and flying all over the place and acting like a cruel guy is my style and since i stopped watching it for a long time...im still as stubborn as Vegeta.

This is interesting. Whenever I take a look at the Neon Genesis Evangelion Boxset at BestBuy (I have never seen the series) it always calls itself the greatest Anime of our time. Yet in these kinds of polls on here and other forums, I have never seen many who vote for it. Is it not as good as it makes itself out to be?

it is an excellent anime in my opinion, its just that there are better ones, such as naruto and wolf's rain...

Just one??? lol Hmmmmmmm well Naruto is one of my favorites right now, all 60 episodes have been great so far.
I also loved Wolf's Rain, although it seems a rip off that it will go beyond the 26 episodes on DVD only.
Last Exile was fantastic, Trigun, Bebop, Hikaru No Go, Inuyasha, X TV ...I could go on all day..

Right now Naruto is the best anime in my opinion but I had to vote Trigun because, well, its Trigun. There were only 25 episodes or something close to that (26?) and though it was short, it was quality. Now I'm not saying that Naruto isn't quality, its just that Naruto is an on going story unlike trigun, which let us catch a glimpse of a strange post-earth world, thrown back in time but with forgotten technology still around. The best part of the story was that the viewers only got to part of the story, and then it was over (suspence!!!). I really think that naruto and trigun shouldn't be compared because they are really different.

I felt the end caused a kind of climax, you don't know what happens as Vash walks away but you kind of feel good that knives didn't die. It also makes creating sequels and continuations much easier with open endings.

Well, in the past, i really was addicted to DBZ. I've got all the manga's and episodes on dvd. (japanese version) But since i've been watching Naruto it is comming very close to DBZ. So if you compare them with eachother i think Naruto has the best music, they've got cooler characters and their fighting style is awsome. So that's why I have chosen for Naruto.

As random as it can get... Evangelion wins by a hair. Naruto, Trigun, Bebop, Full Metal Alchemist, X and sin (movies), Blood last vampire ... I bought Witch hunter robin which is quite good. Last Exile is interesting (haven't seen much of it) I haven't seen Wolf's Rain :(
As weird as the designs were i liked BGC Tokyo 2040, The Guyver. I only saw 2 episodes of Blue Submarine No 6 but from what i saw i can't say i hated it. I want to see Spriggan. Gasaraki was another strange one but in the end it was alright. UMMM... and of course good old Dragon ball Z.
There are also alot of others that look great, which i haven't seen yet :cry:
I'll get there eventually.

Seed gets good after the giant fight on Earth, and Kira was forced to do that thing with his sword addon.....then it good good, cause everyone went crazy, and people started dying right and left, and no, im not saying death is good, but the way the series delt with the deaths of those characters, was really good, thats what made it one of my more favroite gundams, the way they dealed with the issue of death, i mean in everyother one NO MAIN CHARACTER EVER DIED, even Millanado (Zech) came back in Endless Waltz...somehow, but i mean for that series, everyone was dead and you knew they couldn't come back, so i liked it cause of that

Nothing sucked me in better than those battle scenes in Kenshin. Especially the one between Kenshin and Saitou/Kenshin and Shishio. Those just sucked me right in.

Trigun and Escaflowne both had superb storyline and fight scenes. I especially liked the chase scenes in Escaflowne.

Inuyasha was very good from maybe 1-40 or so. Afterwards, the story became dull: Inuyasha and the gang chased after that damned Naraku for what seems like 100 episodes. Naraku seems to be the only villian in the story. Also, Inuyasha recycles his only two moves throughout the series.

Now Naruto, I enjoy everything from the music, fight scenes, character development, storyline, etc.

Shippuden the Movie is supposedly decent enough, people dislike shippuden because the pace is horrible and the animation is even more horrible.

edit: the movie is nothing special to be honest and it didnt get very good critics.

you can get ur stuff at mininova, anyway Death Note isn't funny nor actiony its an awesome more adult theemed investigation anime that evolves around ''genocide'' (A 17 year old student gets a book saying that if u write the name of a person in that book he dies. So he desides to become the god of the new world by ridding all crime and those who oppose him)

HxH is very similar to Naruto/Bleach types. It's probably as good if not better than both.

Hajime no Ippo and Hikaru no Go are both really awesome animes although they are focused around boxing and a board game.

Elfen Lied is great. Full Metal Alchemist is great.

Fate Stay Night was okay but kinda repetitive in a boring way I thought.

Rurouni Kenshin is a great series... again it's a little repetitive especially at first... but the middle arcs is really great.

In the end its the feeling and thrilling expirience the anime gives you that counts. And Elfen Lied was just GREAT imho, freakin class A+++ anime .

I'd have to say Gundam wing after going back and rewatching it, it was sooo.. awsome, it had a great balance of action, drama and romance, not to mention heero yui best charecter in an anime, my opinion.

not to mention Wing Zero KICKS ASS!!!

they should really remake it (by this i mean make the graphics better, and make the voice quality better. keep everything else the same)

I wonder who people would pick between HxH and Naruto. That's a pretty big toss up for me.

It would be a hard choice if I just considered Naruto for the first 2 arcs (zabuza and chunnin exams arc) of Naruto (original). But if I include all the first 4 arcs of Naruto and all of HxH then HxH would win hands down for me. I like it when the anime finishes strong than letting me down as the show progresses. HxH starts a bit slow but finishes like no other. Naruto starts like no other but gets weaker and weaker as time passes.

And doing a poll for such a thread is really difficult. Liking something is so subjective that only 6 choices is no where enough to be representative imo.

Really, i hate the manga. It sometimes lies because you dont know if it is dubbed, or just japenese with english subs. Japenese with english subs is the real thing. They dont skip any parts. And they say the real things.

Obviously I like the fight animes... Now for a little defense of Shippuden. All in all it may be slow in comparison to the manga (wouldn't know I am currently near the beginning in the manga). But if you compare the pace to the original Naruto anime, I feel they are pretty equal if not faster paced. I mean in the Zabuza arc there was a whole lot of flashback and very little progression in the story/fight (same holds true in the Chuunin exam arc when Naruto fights Gaara). In the beginning of the anime they had to reestablish the characterization assuming that there would be people starting in on the shippuden side with no knowledge of the characters. I think it is to early to give it a bad rap... lol thanks if you actually read all of that!

You dont like death note! It is awsome. The person that got me into it was uchiha blaze. I thank that guy for getting me into death note. Now i watch 4 episodes a day. I spent most of my time watching death note. Did you all know that L dies? And is light on the good side or the bad. He seems kinda evil when he lost the death note and when he got it back. When he got it back, he made some smile and like he was baad. Saying "just as i planned". I wanna battle you. I battle my shippuuden and my death note series against your gundams! Naruto is best for action.

Death Note is best for plots and twists.
