So my questions are:

Will you be watching it:?:
What is your opinion of having it on mainstream TV:?:
and
Do you think its US release will be postponed:?:

I think it's a shame they don't release the original subbed version on mainstream TV.

I've already heard the VAs... I don't think I could stand watching it in English...

Though I will try, out of curiosity.

I'm not sure when it will be released on Australian Cartoon Network. Might be the same time, might be an extra few months.
Either way, doesn't bother me.

I'll watch it as a die hard fan, I love FMA. Almost as much as Naruto.

1) Nope , main reason is because I don't even have Cartoon Network, but the other reason is because I don't think I'd be able to watch cheesy American voices coming out of Ed and Al's mouths.

2) I guess it's good cos everyone will get to see it, but with it being dubbed...well...I dunno.

3) No Idea :P

I hear the people doing Ed and Al's voice are good, but as for the rest of the cast...as long as Winry doesn't have an annoying voice, and Mustang's voice is cool, then I'm fine.

I haven't watched any of the subbed versions but the dub sounds good from the one episode I saw of it. They showed the episode repeatedly at Otakon before the L'arc~en~Ciel concert (L'arc~en~Ciel does the opening and all). It's supposed to come out on CN in November. Of course, that means it'll end up being on the Toonami block and only show up once a week and piss the whole world off -_-

Yeah, on Adult Swim Full Metal Alchemist will only have the L'arc~en~Ciel opening, which is a shame, because I liked Cool Joke and Asian Kung-Fu Generation's openings better.

Cartoon Network says October, so we just have to trust them. Only they know. :P

"The Adult Swim debut of Fullmetal Alchemist is currently scheduled for Saturday, November 6, 2004 @ 11:30pm. The L'Arc~en~Ciel opening song "READY STEADY GO" will the opening song for all the episodes aired on Adult Swim. The DVDs, however, will have the all four openings and closings in their appropriate order. The DVDs will be uncut and unedited as well. Full Metal Alchemist DVD box sets will be tenatively released on January 18th, 2005. Reports indicate that there will be 16 13 DVDs in all with 3 to 4 episodes per DVD, priced from $24.95 - $29.95. The official movie is slated for Summer of 2005, and will supposedly continue the story line two years after the end of the tv series."

I hope it doesnt have reallly bad voiceovers, because I didn't like some of the voice overs in Shaman King (Len sounds british, but he's chinese) and One Piece (Luffy sounds like a high pitched gay guy)
