Agreed this is the anime section and yes maybe some people don't like to read the manga. However, a lot of people do so when you make a thread that asks a question like this your going to get an answer and probably a spoiler. So don't bitch about it when that happens you should expect it. i'm not directing this post to anyone rather everyone. I've read threads where people bitch because the asked a question and got the actual answer. I you don't want to know the answer dont ask and if you do read the manga.

I agree; Rock Lee will definitely survive. I don't think they would kill off both Lee and Gai. Plus, one of the main themes of the series is that you can accomplish anything by working hard; "a dropout can beat a genius with hard work", so it's more consistent with the overall theme of the show if Lee survives and succeeds at becoming a great ninja.

Course it was going to work. bit late to post but still. Its not logical for it to fail because then they would have to write what happens in the teams if a member dies which'll be more work for them and they will also have to introduce a new character into Gai sensei team which is more drawing and character planning (jutsu, perhaps advance bloodlines, character traits etc)
